Chrome peeling

Don't know where to post this, so I'll try here.

I have 1 of my rims peeling chrome. I'm not the original purchaser so there's no warranty. A new rim would seem kinda pricey and I'm not sure yet if it's even still available. Has anyone ever had anything like the re-chromed and if so, where and about how much?

They are in the phone book, I've talked to a couple of them and it was like $600 or so for 4 wheels.

Might wanna just get one new rim.

edit: Also, powder coating was cheaper but not much cheaper IIRC.
