The Chilly Breakroom 11/17-11/23

WOW - - - just had to check my state map. YEP, Sarasota is in Florida. So, checked US map - - YEP, Florida is in the US and the most southern
state on map. Sooooo, why is my thermometer reading the high 50's this morning. BBBRRRRR Thought I was in Minnesota when I checked the
lanai.

Hey, fresh coffee and ph00 are on and I have my ph00 all ready. Left some sprinkles and apple fritters on the counter and made sure dragon was
fed so he would not eat them. Come and get them.

Busy week coming up - - finally getting the remodeling going on the office building, so I will be there most of the week. Hope y'all have a great
week. I am off to church. Come sit a while and chat and have a donut and ph00. YEA - - ph00. ……………...

Being global rotationally advanced to Bobbles, I took some coffee and placed beers in the fridge.
Also some good sausages, and salad. (Containing garlic, so don't let the dragon have it, the dragon garlic flatulence could be used as a paint stripper, but the environmental damage is too high)

Anyways, we have about 20" of rain in the valleys in the last 48 hours, higher up it's snow.. and avalanches bring the joy of snow to the valleys.. Also a lot of real estate is being transferred via landslides. Fun times!

Stay safe!

Hot, cold, and chilly here.

Wife made me put lights up in our kitchen. No idea why, but I've learned not to question.

Hope y'all are healthy, and wise.

T-man Thanks for posting that video of the little dog rocking out to some Maiden. That was a great way to start up the day.

I am grabbing an apple fritter and off to stoke up the stove. We have had about a foot of snow on the ground up here for over a week. It is a little early for the snow to stick for the winter, but at this rate, it might just happen.
I am glad I finished getting the 9 cords of fire wood stacked up and the plow truck ready to go two weeks ago.

Ha, ha !

you were the first person I thought of when I heard the Maiden playing . My wife loved the video so much, she actually wants to hear some Iron Maiden.... and she dislikes metal...

Funny stuff. Watched it again, a few times last night. Just can't beat a puppy that loves to headbang !

Me thinks my age may be showing - - - who is Iron Maiden. Is it some statue or something?

A foot of snow? I will shut up about freezing at the 59degree cold two nights ago. We did put the electric blanket back on the
bed for the winter. My orchids are all ready telling me off - - - drooping. They want to come in where it is warmer. If doc says OK,
going to hit the driving range for a short bucket for a couple days and see how I do. Would love to go for a 9 hole the next week. Sure
would be fun to plan on a New Year's surprise of 18 holes and still walking. Wow, what fun that would be.

No ph00 up, so made a short pot if someone wants to finish it. Fritters all gone - - wonder if the dragon got them? Off to the office
building tomorrow and see how things are going. They made some great progress over the weekend. Tough working on it with a
business up and running on the other side of the doors. Can't wait to get the final - - going to look great. It was time.

Gone. L8R

Hey Bobbles. What's ya building? An anti snow machine? Doing a good job so far....

So today was going to be a productive day. Oh well, that got ruined by a 1.8lb pile of fuzz.

Little monkey comes walking up to me when,in standing in an industrial park talking to a suppliers worker. I knew I should have gone anywhere today.

Better luck tomorrow, I guess.

Ugh.

T-man,
That little guy must have fallen out of Bernie's free kitten van you posted pictures of a few weeks ago.

I am off to listen to some Maiden in the shop and work on re-doing the interior of my '98.
I am pulling out the OEM carpet and jute padding as it just gets wet and rots of the floorboards from the inside. While the interior is out I am swapping in some 2nd gen leather quad cab seats I have saved and installing a 1st gen center console out of a '92 club cab.
I will just use rubber floor mats that I can pull out and wash and dry the floorboards easily.

Holy Smoke. I just ran out into the lanai to turn off the water - - I was topping off the pool and forgot to kill it. It is COLD out there. Went to the
thermometer and it is reading 57. Coldest yet for this winter here. Heard some whimpering over in the corner. Orchids were all huddled together
and crying. Gotta bring them in tomorrow night if it is that cold. It is good to get in cold weather like that once in a while. Reminds me why I
moved to Florida. ……….

Heading on into bed. Sleep well.

Cute Kitty Kat.

Good morning, world from the armpit of the USA. I put fresh phoo...not poo on the counter, hot green tea in a carafe, a bucket of Dragon feed, and a basket of banana bread fresh from the local bakery.

Kitty made it through his first Dr visit, a bath in Dawn dish liquid, a blow dry with a hair dryer. , he also slept in a cage with a few stuffies and a makeshift litter box. Fed him every few hours during the night. Amazing how fast kittens turn around, as his eyes are clearing up already with being on meds for less than 24 hours.

The fun of a 5 week old.

Enjoy the day, as I'll be lightly sanding and final finish coat ( hopefully) today.

I'm having kitty withdrawals all over again.
Well, it snowed. Then it snowed again. Had about a foot. Then it warmed up and rained. Then it started dropping ice pellets. Fun times.

Had a personnel issue at work and someone got terminated (not me). So to fill in the gap one guy on days was shifted to nights and I got my days shifted again to cover the gap. Sigh!
Working on the laptops again. Got the old one cleaned out and ready for Mrs C to move in. My new one just needs my bookmarks loaded.
Went to Lowe's and Home Depot this morning to look at bathtubs. Neither places offer "professional" installation anymore. Hard to find anyone around here that will waste their time on a small low profit job.
Wife is making spaghetti tonight. Smells good.

BBBBBBBBRRRRRR - - forgot how the look of snow makes you cold. And only November. BBBBBRRRRRR. Grabbed a Ph00 - still good.

That is a cute kitty. Brings back memories of our 1 cat. Had many years. A sweety. Named Boots - - had four dark brown feet. Miss her.

Been going all day and paying for it tonight. Wow my back is killing me. Have put off some trimming and other stuff in the landscaping.
Thought I maybe could handle it, but I found out different. Pad - - pills - - spray - - sit a spell - - nothing much helped. Got some much needed work
done. Weed vines taking over in my bushes and they are a mess to get rid of. Hopefully I slowed them down to give me more time for recovery.

Work going well on the office building. Tenant is excited seeing it all happening. My pocketbook is not happy at all. OUCH. Shutting this baby down
for the night and go back in family room and relax before bed. Have a great night.

Bobbles... Stop sitting down!! Worst thing you can do for your lower back is to sit in a chair, or on a couch. Stay standing, and if you need a rest, lie on the floor, pillow under your chest / shoulders in the cobra position. Sitting is the worst thing you can do for lower back issues..
