Dodge's trend has been to go retro with the frontends. It's not stolen from the Mustang really. The Charger, Magnum, and Challenger all have forward slant grills, while the Nitro and Jeeps have straight grills...

Floor Mounted Shifters is something Ford has been doing for years.

I'd say Ford inspired some items, but some items are nice, like the bigger back seat, and the 4-link rear will be nice on a half ton.

True but I see more of a mustang like look in the ram than I see other car looks in the charger, magnum or challenger. I've only seen the floor shifter in the 04+ 150s.

True x2 but 2004 is 3+ yrs ago too... So years, although, slightly exaggerated sounding, is correct.

It's funny, wnenever Dodge goes thourhg a body vhange, everybody screams, YUCK, Gross, "I won't be buying one" and "Glad I got one of the old ones!". The same things were being said in '03 and '06, now in '09/'10 the same thing. Funny how that is, although I'm very glad not everybody likes it.

Interior looks somewhat like an 08 Titan (which is a good thing).

I think it grows on people. Heck I don't mind the 08 Fords now, but I still don't think they are as nice as they could have been.
