chevy astro
If that was done right, it would be awesome. But what would you call the cab setup then? It would have looked better with a fleetside bed though in my own opinion.
I hope the frame isn't tweaked where the van and truck bed meet, because of the weight it is hauling.
They should have got rid of the vans body lines especially since the rear wheel well is filled in.
I like it most because it is different.

Well I am guessing by the picture that they just butted the frames togeather with minimal bracing. I would have to have both chassis in front of me to make it right, but there are ways to keep the frame rigid enough to haul at least the astro was rated for.
Judging by the picture they have more of a load behind "IT" than the astro was rated for.
The guy had an original idea, but didn't take the time to make it come out great.

I looked at this picture again and it is a fake a photo shop job and not a very good one at that. Look closely where the rear wheel should be on the van body and you will see a blur under the van.
Also if you look at the picture of the van from the front, the trailer is right on the vans bumper, too close for the truck bed.
Nice try...but we ain't buying it

That thing is fugly. I see what you mean where the wheel would be but the reflection looks almost legit. If it's real or not they didn't shim the cab to sit straight with an even gap on the cab. That makes me beleive that they didn't bother to get the lines right where the wheel was. Hmmm

Well, that discredits Lary's photo-forensic skills.
Seems like a decent idea just really, really, really poorly done. The blur over the wheel wells is the crappy bondo-job over the area. (Not that I could have done better, though...)
And aren't Astrovans unibodies anyways? If that is half a truck frame welded onto a unibody... It seems unsafe...
