I am looking at getting truck cap. The two I have narrowed it down to are ARE and Astro. I have had ARE's in the past good product. The Astro is new to my and need info on it. It is a little cheaper and I like the double locks on the back glass. Any way if you have any info good or bad I would appreciate it. Thanks Tom

Orderd a ARE CX series on Fri ;D. Turns out a friend of mine knows the dealer here. Got it for $860. Will be here a week form Mon they said. Shovelhead I did check the Jeraco site and the closeset dealer is 450+ miles from me.

Argh ! I'm jealous. Price around here for a Z series is $1500.

 

I have an ARE, a 'Z' series as I recall. The paint match is very good, no leaks so far, the tilt window allows for easy cleaning, it's insulated well enough to have been comfortable for the kids riding in the rear this last hot summer, and after a slight adjustment the hatch closes nicely.
