Looking at carrying, just got my CCW.

So what do you carry?

Where is it carried (on you)?

What Holster are you using?

Thanks.

Once I turn 21 and can get my CCW I will most likely be carrying a Springfield Loaded Champion or a Sig of some sort. Depending on what the need is for the day. It will be carried anywhere and everywhere.

As far as holsters:

Crossbreed

Milt Sparks SS2

Comp-tac CTAC

Always in my truck or on my person.

Glock 26

I don't carry very often but when I do it's a Glock 26 9mm in a bellyband. If I'm wearing a longer coat it's in an Uncle Mike's holster, shorter coat it's in the coat pocket. My wife carries less than me but she has a S&W 649 Bodyguard revolver loaded with .38 but it's capable of .357.

OK, green Canuk here with a question or 2.. You can carry the firearm, but what is the law on drawing the firearm? How does that work? Is it like a citizens arrest sort of thing?

Thanks guys..

if you draw it, you should probably shoot them...better prepare for the legal battles ahead, but atleast youll be alive to defend yourself

There's quite a few forums out there that address carry issues.

A few resources:
http://www.carryconcealed.net/
http://www.glocktalk.org/
http://www.thehighroad.org/

As for me I have NAA .22 magnum that I pocket carry and a steyr m9 with custom holster that usually rides about 3o'clock on my hip when I need the extra insurance. I'm looking for a truck carry pistol. Probably a .454 casull revolver with some .410 ammo laying around.

I have a S&W 642 .38+P in a Nemesis pocket holster. Its a pretty accurate little unit and easily concealable. If I shoot something hot I do get some crimp jump which could lock the revolver up, plus accuracy suffers. These are just tradeoffs of such a lightweight revolver.

For winter clothing I have a S&W M&P.45. 11 rounds of .45ACP, I like this thing more and more each time I shoot it.

I do want a 1911 very bad though!

S&W 342PD in an IWB holster midway between my navel and my hip. I have an ankle holster for it for times when I have to have my shirt tucked in. For times when the snubby is too big I have a Kel-Tec P3AT with a Nemesis pocket holster. Looks like a wallet.

I'm curious. How did you get a permit, is your brother the sheriff?
