Most big trucks are running more power and when you get on the interstate if you can't compete then you will get stepped on (talked over). Plus for me it is kinda like bombin my cummins. I like to see how far I can talk.

Some now are even 800mhz. I'm surprised that an ambulance would have an amp since most of those radios already range from 40 to 120 watts anyway. What does the Motorola "amp" say on the cover? You'd be surprised. Some of those radios are huge and aren't amps at all. For instance, I have a Motorola Syntor X9000 in my truck, and it's 16 inches x 12 inches x 3. The control head is in front, but the radio itself is mounted under the back seat.

Hey CJ I'm not getting a bigger pair of "shoe's" but I am getting a bigger radio tomorrow.

Uniden Grant XL
By the time my "technician" get's done with it it will be @ about 50watts ;D
Maxed out Cobra 25 is going in my old Chevy, as I was looking @ a Uniden PC 66 for it but saw what a similar Grant XL my buddy got was doing tonight!

Now all I gotta do it buy a 102" whip for the Chevy, and that's only $20! ;D

P.S. Spoke with Justin tonight, you gonna be ready for a road trip in about a month or so? ;D
