I ran my coax out the grommet in the firewall and along the frame rail and up between the cab and my flatbed and welded brackets to the headache rack. Prior to the flatbed I did the same and had the rackets mounted to the back of my tool box.

I ran the coax out the firewall gromet also, and then along the frame, over the bed and to dual firestick whips on the side of the toolbox.

This is what I use. No holes drilled, it just clamps into the front stake holes and doesn't interfere with the toolbox. I have the coax running through the firewall the same as everyone else.

I'm going to install mine on the roof. I already have a hole in the roof where the satellite antenna is located. So I won't have to drill anything!

Twin Wilsons on my home made aluminum back rack. Coax's run down the inside of the stake pockets, along the frame and up through one of the floor drain plugs into the cab.

So what is the benifit of dual antennas. Just longer range?
CTD NUT QUESTION: what are those white canister looking things on your antennas?

I mounted mine right in the middle of my tool box lid.
