WOW!

I'm stunned.

I too saw the mayhem of your truck's demise.

Obviously you made the right choice, might I add a small price to pay for you and your son's safety.

It is obvoius that we have a problem here in California. The Whacko liberal politics only serve to expand the problem state wide.

Unfortunately those whom have never lived here do not have a clue as to what California used to be and could be again. (They say ," Build a fence around it").

I'm Ca DTR Chapter President Rick Brown and should you require assistance please let me know.

Rick Brown /aka Runamuk

P.S. the 05 Dodges come with automatic door locks Good luck with your new truck!

It's just as well they rolled it when they were done with it, I don't think you would have wanted to run the risk of the insurance company repairing it and giving it back to you. Driving on the rims.... can you imagine the damage??
That was on the news up here as well.... Glad you and your son are ok....

Hello, this is my first post. I thought I would share a horrible story with you. Those of you in Souther Cal. probobly saw this on the news. On friday May 6 my 6 y/o son and I were carkacked at knife point in a parking lot. Two men took my baby, a 97 2500 4x4 extra cab and proceded to lead the police on a chase that spanned 3 counties at 100+ miles per hour. A spike strip was deployed and they drove for several miles on the steal rims, only to roll the truck 6 times down a hillside in the end.
I know, we are very thankful we weren't hurt. But now that it's had a few days to digest I just can't believe its gone. Now I will probobly get to be a victim once again at the hands of my insurance co.
By the way my truck had the last laugh as one of the guys was ejected as it rolled and was crushed by it.
That even made the news down here in Texas.

I'm glad you and your son are okay. That is the most important thing.

To those saying they would have shot the carjackers...NOBODY can HONESTLY say what they would have done until they've been in the exact same situation themselves. I can tell you one thing though....even as someone who carries daily and trains for self defense....I don't think it would be very smart to draw a gun on someone who is holding a knife to your son's chest.

Dude, glad you and your family are OK. Get out while you can. I escaped Cali nine years ago.
