BREAK ROOM, COFFEE DONUTS,and other flying stuff. Mar 4 2007 to Mar10 2007
Ugh,
Second Monday of the week. I need some
Around here, that saying "It's hard to soar like an eagle when you are surrounded by turkeys" has taken on new meaning. I should re-enlist.

Up early (for me) so I can get feeding done before I go sit through class listening to a lawyer. Where'd the microwave go? I was going to nuke me some breakfast taquitos. Ahh, there it is...do, to do...hmmm, it's sparking pretty good. one of those sparks just landed in the foo foo pot.
Wow, a pink flame.BTW where is the fire extinguisher???

ha ha. i had to de-brief the Staff Representatives for JCS on something,
and this old AF officer starting pounding on me with questions he knew a Navy guy could NOT answer.
we were in a theater PACKED with people, we were down in floor at long table in front of screen, and you could them getting squeamish as he pounded on me with questions. i was doing Ok, ...until this one question....
out the corner of my eye, I saw the Major who was on the flight. And I said "Yes Sir, I knew a man of your background might have these technical questions, so i brought along the Major who was on that flight"
i introduced the Major, and he spoke for ~30 minutes.....on on and on and on...
VERY technical, stuff like how solar spots create doppler effects in RF radiation waveforms when the wavelength is smaller than the raindrops....
EVERYONE in there eye's glazed over, tongues lolled out....
Major sat down, i stood, "ANYONE ELSE GOT ANY QUESTIONS?"
don't Edit with me...i will ask Poindexter to stand up again...

Did something similar to my 0-6.
I sent up a report and where I had a name with a common acronym I included it. IE; Cummins Turbo Diesel (CTD).
I got a reply back that stated " I'm not as stupid as you think, all I need is the acronyms." No sweat.
The next report was full of them, including a lot that I just made up as I went along. GOESINTA, PCOD, SORDIC, B-1R-D, and such. No further replys back on the reports.

AkTallPaul How did you make out with your truck fixin? Hope it went all right.
All this talk of turkeys is making me hungry already. How many turkey sammiches could a person buy with 364 mil.

I did the same in a meeting.
Acronyms flying all over the room.
I was asked if I could support a requirement for a number of XXXXXX.
I replied "Of course as I always kept a number of XXXXXXX in my JISCH inventory.
Everyone nodded as if they knew what that was.
Only after the meeting, did the "Big Dog" in charge approach me and state that he was unfamiliar with the term JICSH and could I explain.
To which I replied, JICSH stands for Just In Case "Stuff" Happens.

Hey SHORTROUND!! GOOD TO have your head poked outta the cave!!
Upgrade to onlets today, man- I'll keep em fresh for ya- lizards are green...
04, SHOVEL, CHRISR, et. al. you guys are NOW ready for politics... I was once told by a Senator I was working for (internship) that there is a 20 to1 rule for leadership; If you cancel out the 20 squawking, begging, slippery eels that want something from you- you can hear the solid one man who will give you the direction you need. This senator's brother was the National Guard commander by his own right. I am sure all of you, AFarts, Navy, Army can identify with that one individual that you would follow anywhere.
every Marine is self- sufficient, I don't think they take orders, do they??
well maybe from Navy Chiefs......
SHOVEL---ahhhhhh teaaaaaaa.. never thought of adding more natural stuff to it!!! BUT YA HADDA MENTION GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!!!!! awww.....
TOTALLYRICK--> if the 'bullion cubes dumping in a pot' came from REDLEG, I would think of something totally different.....
CIN- Yeah gal! U R right. I would not want to wait on this bunch for anything clean and fresh... these guys are way beyond the five second rule...
JBark- yeah I accused DUALLYDOG of going out with multiple girls at a camping trip. He was going out with multiple CLOTHES at the time.....
Hope ya had fun pal, and all the basics 'covered' (groan)
Motherly warnings...
MADBOY!!! April huh? Because I am Army- Does that mean you get assigned to a platoon of recruits for the entire (what?) 12 week basic training? up at OMG and home at 10PM...?
Remember, I had Vietnam drill sergeants, I think they took their pay in chits...wow- sure never left. you never startled them...so thin, they could fit through the gap in the gates FORT JACKSON
nasty weather here but sunny I can live with that. 'TI YAD' as CHAIKWA says in murdered English, but have to keep swimming. feel good with 1000 yards in,
I NEVER look at the college swimmers doing their 3,000-6,000 yard workouts.
God Bless Ya 04CTD for running, my joints could not take it, my blood test is at the end of the month....you sound like a BIG/tall fella too, all the more my respect- keep it up!!! (can you actually run farther than 3,000 feet, or do you feel the urge to turn before you fall off the ship-heheheh just kidding)

Yeah, it's around 12.5 weeks. In at 0330, out at 2130... if you're lucky. It depends on what time lights is, and what's going on. Every third night I have duty, so I stay there with the recruits. If you think that I get any sleep then, think again... I get pretty thin in a cycle. My lowest was 142.
142!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jeesh MadJaw you'd be a skeleton!!!!! wife could use you for a broom!!! (if ya let your hair grow into a brush cut, that is)

Chicken stir fry tonight, per daughter request.
Got to bed before the bewitching hout last night. Wife getting the hang of getting her assigments done. Googled some sites on writing and style of writing. Big help, for me to help her. The price is right, free.
She gonna have to work fast, as she flys out on Sunday to go to WA state for a deposition from the accident in 2000. Sunday midnigth CST is when most of the assingmets are due.

hey- some pointer for the depostion. 'I don't recall" 'Please show me" "please explain" but any lawyer worth their salt will tell her to keep it uncommitted
(innocuous) or innocent. Insurance companies at THIS stage are looking for how well you look to a jury- it defines the amount of damage they are willing to cover. Funny thing, in THIS sandbox- truth is meant to be hidden; not lied about, but very little facts stated. The during an actual trial (one of 37 cases will at least set a trial date) is when the smallest of details come out, damage !! maximum damage is NOT a military term; it was coined in litigation.
very weird world for honest, common sense, tax paying everyday working folks to experience.......best of luck to her... clear the mind is her best advice. davey, you can bring her and you for a mountain retreat up here
BUT we will have TotallyRick cook.....

Your Xrays, man...
awww, you haven't been picked on today- just wanted you to have been reached out and slammed by the DTR that loves ya, baby! and Scotty is not around......I like geico too much to upset him.......TotallyRad cooks well and I need the new recipes....Nothing but Respect for 04 and CHRISR......SHOVEL is the boss and suggests REALLY good health tips....and on and on and on
Whats up all? Heidi, I DID have lots of fun. Between 3 of us we had 18 longnecks and a 30case, and I had 15 of those + some corona, heinki, sam adams, dos equis, bud...man, we ran out of the good stuff; so I had to salvage whatever I could. I was prepared, but no funny rashes. Thank god.
On a brighter note, I think I found a girl who is interested in me, surprise, I know. She seems cool. Likes camping, the outdoors, riding dirtbikes, aint afraid to get dirty. My type of girl. We'll see how it turns out.
Work is pretty uneventful today. Got most of my stuff done this mornin', so this afternoon is devoted to starting some projects I have been meaning to get to around here. I'm poudin down my arby's beef and chedders. I was in the drivethrough and noticed they were cheap on my reciept, 2 for 4. So I went back around, not even joking.
Hope ya'll are having a good day. Need to get me a haircut tonigh, then to see that pretty lady friend of mine.
