Yeah DTR grubbies here have 'no rules; just right 'mind set..

Jbark- Way 2 Go man,, okay single fellas - you saw his plan. Get six women to go camping with you cause a different woman that you REALLY like, will think you are popular and cool! I thought Dually was the marketing expert??!!
No wonder I get you guys confused.....

I did get a swim in, too busy jabbering with SOONTOWORKHAT and almost missed the time cut off. Only ijuit I know that can swim about 1000 yards and almost drown while getting a small drink of water from the nearby fountain. Confused the lifeguard......I am such a maroon sometimes....

Yeah CIN gal, REDLEG and CHRISR must have been seperated at birth.... they'll both stake claim to any non walking food... good thing they aren't dogs

Still can't think of AKPAUL's, IJOBBs weather...I had to replace a washer fluid pump in a parking lot and it was roaring wind at 10 degrees. figure a minus 30 wind chill, hurt the exposed skin (to say nothing of wet hair, now dreadlocks)
I hate wind. lucky it is only the straight stuff.

okay, dinner time and y'all is on your own- tonight sounds like meatloaf, salad and clear off some paperwork before the avalance.....

tomorrow's breakfast should be ham and waffles, fruit topping and varied yogurt flavors for people like me that don't weigh like MADHAT during his DI work cycle sheesh 142.....I would cry for JOY!

Come to Parris Island, lady. I'll get you where you want to be...

Nice night tonight. Got home early enough to play some ball with the kids, wife made a good dinner, and I watched some pinks. Not too much going on, gonna browse the DTR for a little while, then it's taps for me.

Good evening all. DC, you'll need a state license and possibly a county and city one also, depending on the location of your business office.

Heidi, I know I'll probably regret this but, what's the five second rule?

This has been an interesting day. Work went well and I was on my way to a great finish for the day, very productive. 1730 the phone rings, wife says she's fallen down the den stairs and her wrist is hurt, bad. I pack up and start home, that's a no go. There must have been an accident on I20 East because the traffic was nearly sitting still. I called ahead and got one of my neighbors to run the wife on to the hospital, I'll catch up ASAP. I arrived about 20 minutes behind her, and yes, it even looked bad. Now apparently everyone who wasn't stuck in traffic decided to all have a medical emergency at the same time. It took over 3 hours just to get her wrist treated. On the positive side, they took an x-ray and the ER doctor concurred with my diagnoses, her wrist is broken. A temporary cast and a referral for tomorrow. I maintain she needs to slow down because she's been sent a message from above and she better listen! The best news of all was she could call me, at least she didn't break her neck!!!

Almost time to jump in bed and cover up my head.

TotalR, I'll let Wannabe explain the 5 second rule, it is in the parent handbook what did you do with your copy?

Sorry about your wife's broken wrist. Hope it heals fast and no problems. Some days just go from good to down the dumper.

Take care of her and yourself.

Have a good un and be safe out there tonight.

Wink Aw man , sorry to hear that Totally..

Wow, not a good day at all, I hope you let her cry on your shoulder, fer sure the frustration is enough!! Glad it WAS NOT anything multiple or worse....
too many things on the mind for the bod to catch up with...All the speediest of healing and some corn starch for the cast....(itching). on the not really serious side- she can always do home therapy like the Karate Kid- wax on, wax off on your truck... purely for medicinal reasons....

Davey, GET TO BED- we have people to feed in the AM......

FIVE SECOND RULE (every scout or toddler parent's knowledge) is when food hits the floor, ground, etc.. you can pick it back up and brush it off and eat it. Here, at DTR- it is more like the Iraq rules.... shoot first, shoot often and get the amount needed to survive...no ettiquette, no politics, hey! no rules-just RIGHT! use your own theme music now....

GEICO !! please change your avatar to at least the smarter looking caveman,
little more feminine-acting but not as scary..... hope all is well for you! HOW IS SHEROD (Ed) doing anyways with his pilot's license stuff? love when he posts, always cool to read.

ahhh another night for Shovelhead's herbal remedy for me to ward off idiots.....
arraigned (start of criminal process) a 32 year old man who conned, drugged and kidnapped two minor females, family site here: they were 'time shared' to migrant farm worker camps in a thirty mile radius. His official statement was 'they were willing'. where's the shotgun shooting smiley?
Better yet? where's DTR member FRONTY??!!!!

some times, I think this job should be done by robots, like the auto manufacturers use. plasma cutters, spot welds and all.

Heard from a good friend in a far away place, out of the blue. Life, is GOOD!
wallet is still MIA.......it's black, small, pouchy type thing reward- you find it, you keep the forty bucks or so in it. I need the ID; I am now open to offers on my retirement badge in exchange.......

G'Day DTRonians.
Chilly AM in DC.
Weather calling for maybe 2-4 inches of white stuff between 0700 and 1900 hrs.
They're already closing schools.

One small project on the Stuff-To-Do list for today.
That's more than I've had to do all week.
I've never in 19 years on this base seen work this slow for this long.
Just waiting for the floodgates to open and we'll see 3 weeks of work that will all have to be completed the same day.

Sippin' coffee, surfin a high-speed connection, slippin' into nap mode.
