I'm sick of it being cold. I grew up near fiver bob, and I don't like this 30* crap. I'm moving to jamaca.

Need a nap.

The song writer Redlag should do a song about this. Sure it is a good story. Not sure we need the details.

Dis.. dont you dare ever come in here talking about home-made strawberry short cake and whipped cream again unless you bring some for everyone(me)...thats just RUDE....
When I make it again I'll tiptoe in the Breakroom late at night and leave some on the counter. Have to get in there early to get it.

Wink AHHHH! It's FIVE O'CLOCK here! and somewhere....

Pager goin' off like a battered alarm clock with stupid people in trouble...

Being too old to get excited about this stuff makes for a bad attitude, I know I am preaching to the choir but PLEASE remind all the stupid poeple out there:

(They are grown down here AKTALLPAUL, and get tossed up towards you)

Because your snowmobile can do 130, it is not advisable during a whiteout. 7 trees/posts
If you like fishing on ice, look at the weather report before you go out for the whole day. Occasionally, look at the land to see if you happen to be floating on an ice chunk. Most shanties use heaters well above the actual ice.

If you want to ice fish in March, do not drive your fully loaded chevy suburban out on the ice over all the drilling holes. tow truck chainsaws for ice 15 one very mad VOLUNTEER rescue diver to attach chains who was calmed by the presence of the Dept of Environmental Conservation, asking if any leaks were observed (minimum 10,000 dollar fine)

Hearing the nasty weather, at least I stayed under the covers for a while!
AKPAUL and IJOBB are sharing , why thanks guys!! I did really miss that twenty below with high winds.....

NICE TO SEE YA CIN'S DODGE!! everyone had better find you a raspberry doughnut this week, thanks fer droppin' by...

SHOVELHEAD and MADHAT- teach me how to drink this week......and MAD-
drinking does NOT always end with a marine fight...
Navy ugys- I don't know if you have seen her but the USS NEW YORK is out. I have a pic but have to convert it to post if ya want it..let me know

REDLEG!! Thanks man, for the PM and hope all is well! Think I will send out this new puzzle to ya, and remember- this one is a trick.
DAVEY DSSIMECEK Way to go PAL!! Start the thread off right and we keep 'em comin' in!! Tomorrow is omlet day- ham, cheese, sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms whatever we find, let's whip up a good breakfast.
GEICO, my buddy- Say it ain't so!! that caveman avatar looks really creepy

While on stupid duty up in Rochester, NY- got to sit in the navigator area on a Gulfstream so no one came near the cockpit. Mechanic had the twist keys in his pocket while doing some damage control from inland white gulls. WOW!
what a pretty pricetag. Glad to be in the right place and look really mean...

In Seattle if it got below about 45F the kids didn't go out. In Houston if is below about 60F the kids don't go out. If it is gonna be below 40F there is talk of closing the schools.
Just depends on what you get acustom to.
Now that you got that screamer of a computer, are you going to get hi speed interner? DSL, cable modem or Directway satelite?
Yea they close schools here at 50 below.
I would love a faster conection, but for now dialup an Sat. is all I can get, and Sat. is really spendy so I'll stick with what I got, but hey with this thing it feels like i have a faster connection by how fast it processes the data stream.

New boss(2 star type) is gonna be in the area all day. He's already put out the word that he DID NOT desire the presence of any of his staff due to the possibility of their influenceing what the troops may say. Knowing him, he will probably show up at 0600 when the early crew gets in and the coffee finishes perking. Great person, lots of underlings with a pucker factor of 10 sweating their jobs because they got there not through knowledge but through their "other" abilities.

Monday survived.
Tuesday bringing VERY cold temps and 30+ mph winds.

Not much going on here.
Sippin' surfin', snoozin', an easy, but boooooring way to spend 8 hrs.

I've also noticed that the "Big Dog" is always the easiest person in the office to deal with.
Be straight with 'em, and there's no problem.
It's his exec and the "staff" that always seems to be wearing the General's rank and causing headaches
.
Coffee's on.

Morning, morning. I'm late, I know. One of the perks of my job... whatever. Got hung up at the house, forgot to load some stuff into the truck last night. I did get my tow hook extenders from XL8R, and they are nice. If I get a dull couple of hours, I'll put them on at work today. Not too much else to report. The navy has not decided when they are going to jump me yet... been bringing my camera to work, but no love.

Morning Guys................

SR, when our new" TAG came in, he did the same, toured at 0530 w/o staff....and bright me, I had no idea who this charactor was wandering around, and he showed at our vault during shift change( arming/disarming time). he started to step in, and I quite, uhmm..firmly, instructed him to remove his posterior from my secured area........He stepped out and when we got done, he introduced himself.... we get along great now... real down-to-earth type. It was interesting seeing the number of retirements that were announced in teh 6-7 months after he took command...

Half our guys out sick today, not sure if its the stomach flu or spring fever...

is a good, and got a couple rasberry filled donuts stashed away, so life is good....

Oh, BTW, DIS..... I am employed by the goverment. Getting to WORK is NOT in my job description!

Morning all. The old weather rock says it's going to be sunny and high 60's, maybe even low 70's today and tomorrow. I think the rock wants tomorrow off, something about a personal day. Don't forget your lottery tickets, 364 MILLION dollars! Y'all stay safe today, and play nice! I don't recall getting any update on how the "code purple" went. I guess that nurse managed to convince old crazyhat to see it her way. I dropped a couple bullion cubes in the pot. It looked like roast beef so we might as well be able to make gravy too. Somebody pass the potatoes.
