In my experience if you exhibit any brain activity whatsoever, they pass you over. They need robot instruction followers.

I try to act dumb as a pickle for the fun of it. They usually catch me at it and get rid of me.

Got on a jury once. It was disheartening to see the lack of common sense in the room.

No problems with the name Heidi.....for some darn reason most people I meet at first call me Jason..... You'd think after 2 minutes of knowing me that Justin...not Jason...would still be on the train of thought.....oh well.....no big deal to me. If someone thinks I'm Jason.....or Jim.....then that keeps me out of trouble should someone think I did wrong and then has a brain-fart and can't remember the name.

Scott....glad to hear your remaining 3 teeth are doing well. Also good to hear you had no major problems from the storm.....you too Heidi. What about Cincy.....anyone know if he was able to save his herd of sheep? He'd sure be lonely without them.

Note to self, don't leave your laptop set up at work running wide open when you go for mutual aid. The guys coming to your station to cover your district may do some pretty gross stuff with it.

evening all...

stopped and looked at an 09 Chevy today. I walked around it and about fell over at the price
$30k for a 09 3500 crew cab 4x4 with 97k on the clock
left rear tail light is busted
left rear bumper is pushed against the bed.
tail gate is bent
right rear fender is caved in
every rim has curb marks on it
front right rim is missing a center cap
inside of the bed is clean and in good shape. but the B&W hitch makes me suspect its been trailered hard.

Watching TV of the storm - - quite amazing. Be careful up there, gang.

Little sleet and a LOT of wind here. Miraculously we've not lost power yet. More than likely due to the fact that I have the generator fueled up, in place and ready to go.
Lucky for you that you didn't have 4 teeth.

Sounds like you got lucky this time with the power.

You know, somebody is likely to take a cheap shot at you over this. The same guy might mix in a jab or two about cans or truckies or something like that. I just want you to know that I won't be that guy but you know he's out there, just waiting to take a poke at you, but I won't, I won't.

Evening all. Sandy, wow! What a storm this has turned out to be. The only thing amusing I've seen come out of it is a joke comparing Sandy to Snookie from Jersey Shore. It seems some think the storm was improperly named because of the number of folks Snookie might have come in contact with compared to the number Sandy has.

a good executive work out routine is to start with between 15 and 30 minutes in the sauna to get a good sweat going. follow that up with a dip in the hot tub to keep your skin moist. A quick cold shower, then two dry martinis to rehydrate.

Got hooked on the private label IPA's but that got too pricey....sooooooooo....back to the cheaper label jazz . Guess I better cut back on that too......Scotty......I need your help here dude.

Me be awake - - since 5:30 - - trying not awaken sleeping beauty with all my stumbling and mumbling and grumbling. Light rain last night and gorgeous this morning. Have to manage somehow to make a couple repairs around here today. I am going to be the sup and the blonde is going to do the work. Cover
fell off the mailbox. Never been the same since a young kid texting wacked it and sent it out in the middle of the yard - - then he took off. Found his car two days later and had the police handle it. He was driving grandma's car. Made him come over, rebuild the thing (custom box), paint it and reinstall it all on his money while I supervised. Then the cop told him to apologize and gave him a sermon about accepting responsibility. Hopefully it got thru to him.

OK, the blonde is ready to rumble, so off to accomplish great and wonderful things around here. .............

Bob
ps: grabbing ph00 on the way out - - thanks. ..........
