Check your block heater cord first with a ohm meter...these heaters burn up the cords and fixin the cord is ezer then replacing the heater

I ordered it Wed morning over the phone and it was on my door step yesterday by 1:30pm. Call and ask for parts and tell them you need a block heater for oyur truck. I can get the part number this afternoon when I get in. the kit for 43.00 inclues a new power cord and element. After sitting for 8 hours at work last night in the 12* windy parking lot,,,,,,,,, I could have sworn poor RATTLIN let out a moan or groaning sound from somewhere under the hood and then started making that "Two-Bowlingballs-In-A-55gal Drum" sound!! : Plugged in when I got home at midnight and the WTS light went off in about 3 seconds,,,, fired up like it was 70* outside this morning,,,,,,, no moaning or groaning. ;D
