block heater cord attachment on block

can anyone show me where the block heater cord attaches to the block? the dealer ripped mine off the motor when changing my engine and didnt replace it and just shipped me a new block heater cord. I guess I could take it to the dealer and have them install it but if its easy I would rather skip the drive across town and back. thanks for any info

Heater Cord

It's on the passenger side of the block. If you have the cord, lay on the ground behind the front wheel and you should see where it screws in.

It is next to the filter on the passenger side of the motor. The clips clip into the holes in the frame rail up to the front bumper.

As far as I know they do. I bought my cord from the local Cummins dealer and it was much less than Dodge wanted for it.

I was by Kenworth center today and found a Fleetguard cord, #251919, but they couldn't tell me if it fit the 6.7l. What was the part number on your cord?
