So now they aren't laying off all those people, I just can't keep with all the news these days. So Toyota + Ford = Tord {pronounced, terd}

 

Say it ain't so!!!

That would mean....GULP....Cummins is owned by Ford who is owned by Toyota....Toyota owns Cummins!!!

 

The deal with "bird flu" is it makes you fly from the bed to the bathroom on wings of an eagle.

I know. I got it. I have a path from the bed to the bathroom. Hold it I gotta go........

Today at work I'm struggling to get thru the day figuring I'll leave at 3:30 and then a customer calls with a problem. I sit there on the phone for 45 minutes with my legs crossed and gut rumbling and churning. I say "tell you what, let me check things out and I'll call you back" I make a mad dash for the restroom and about blow my guts out.

So I sit there thinking about my guts and the problem. I call the customer back and tell him I have the answer but I can't do anything untill tomorrow as all the shop guys have gone home. He says great..I wasn't expecting anything untill Monday. Great now I can spend the rest of the week in bed and traveling to the bathroom. This is the worst flu I've had in a long time.

oh oh I gotta go bad..........

 

I'll say this about the bird flu. My grandfather lost two brothers to the 1917-18 flu. And there was a report out not to long ago on medical exams performed on bodies that had died during that epidemic. They exhumed two bodies that were buried below the permafrost and were fairly well preserved (at least as perserved as one can be after being dead almost 100 years). Their findings were that the flu that caused all the deaths then was because of a variant of the bird flu that had mutated to human form. Look at how bacteria today is resistant to our attempts to wipe it out. Who was it that died of a staph (sp?) infection while he was in the hospital within the last month? The antibiotics that were given to him did not wipe out the infection that was in his body because of it's resistance. It's only a matter of time. I read somewhere last year that there was a study that said that kids that picked their noses and ate the boogers were less likely to get sick than kids who didn't. By pickin' and eatin' they were letting their bodies build up an immunity to the bacteria and other stuff that was trapped in the nose.
