Good think the senior citizens didn't throw McDonalds drinks at them, then they'd all be in prison .. oh wait, this was in Costa Rica, they're cool, you can still defend yourself there.

Ha.

I for sure won't mess with my gran'daddy, he'll knock me over before I even knew what hit me. One of the old WWII - Korean War guy's, the hardcore fella's. Man I miss that generation. People had pride in their country and everything was gravy. Ok, off my soapbox.

My grandpa is 74 and he'd kill me in a fight. When he was 17 he was in Korea shooting the big guns on a battleship, and when he was in his late 40's and had the physice of a bowling ball, 4, 20 someting marines thought they'd try and put this short loud mouth old man in the closet of the American Legion. They never got him in there. I'd have paid to see that. My mom challanged him to a foot race when he was in his 60's. She lost. Her words "I never would have thought a short, stocky old man would beat me." He told me the reason he got overweight in the first place. "When I was in the navy I ate a lot, drank a lot, and worked my "butt" off everyday. Then, when I got out of the Navy, I ate the same way and drank the same way, no working though."

The article I read said that the man was a Marine.

First thing I thought was this was more evidence for the reinstatement of LINE, but I guess that was before this guy's time.
