Bad news for diesel owners

Just read the following news story. It is not good. Admittedly it is only one report, but I fear that self serving politicians and sundry other groups will jump on the bandwagon with this and do their utmost to ban diesels. Can't help but also wonder if the auto manufacturers in the US will also maybe use this info to "prove" why the introduction of diesels into the US is not such a good idea.

diesel will def. never be banned. Gas prices would go so high from companies trying to get gas to supply their fleet of former diesel trucks. A ban on diesel would also cost millions b/c most companies using diesel trucks would just throw away the diesel and buy gas trucks. land fills and junk yards would fill up from the banned diesel trucks, the tree huggers would be jumping out of the woodwork lol just to have diesel unbanned (can't think of right word). it would jus cause havoc if diesel was banned. we need diesel to support the economy. all diesel mechanics and technicians would be out of the job, auto companies would loose millions, seafood business would plummet b/c most waterman use a diesel engine and can't afford to switch to gas. simple solution: stop eating the **** bad cholesterol and eat better foods BAN McDonalds! NOT DIESEL!

Oh, geez, what other pollutants mixed together may cause health issues. Guess we just need to get rid of all engines.

I think DTR is worse on your health than Diesel, now combine the two, and we're all already dead we just don't know it yet.

Seriously it's the people behind me who need to worry, not me.
