Why? My theory about bacon, (and most foods), is that if you have to add all kinds of stuff to it to make it taste better, why eat it in the first place? Take the ph00 for example, (PLEASE!), coffee should taste like coffee, not all kindsa nuts and berries. 
My bacon tastes like pig, not some floofy maple tree or a ginger snap cookie!

For those of you who have been here in Jorsey, this is a Jersey delicacy. And it's the next best thing to Bacon.
You guys have had Egg-bacon-cheese sandwiches, we have a Taylor-egg and cheese. Put that on an english muffin and mmmmwahh

had a smoked turkey/bacon/cheddar cheese sammich for lunch
ALMOST had a BEC for breakie, but decided to be good and choked down a bowl of Irish oatmeal

Dont know why the maple flavored bacon tastes so bad (to me) but if a little maple syrup happens to get on a piece of bacon it is still edible.
