Awright which one of you Colorado diesel Jockeys went and pulled one of yer Colorado Lows up here into my backyard. Now its taking me 2.5 hours to make a 1 hour trip to anywhere. The only highways that aren't snowpacked over ice are glare freaking ice. So now we're gonna have snow on the ground for Christmas (note no X in Christmas) and I'm gonna have to put gas in the EXT and the Puma and insurance on them and a trail pass and ..... Never mind. I'm okay now. Merry Christmas to all and travel safely.

 

I like it out here in Ohio It was 25 two days ago and now its 60. I did not need a coat today. It was great.<br>DM01

 

Its only about 29 here now so its wet heavy crap snow that turns to ice on contact. Colorado snow, not good fluffy Canadian snow, but at least its snow. Now if the bozo driving the Petercar that put my right side wheels in the ditch dodging him on MY side of the road could just figure out how to drive in it life would be grand. Ahhh he was probably running a Detroit ;D

 

dunno about that but it was 45 toaday in ct supposed to be 50 tomorrow

Got almost a foot at my place in northern ontario now! Been snowmobiling for about 3 weeks now and got about 400 miles on!

 

FYI on Tuesday, there wasn't enough snow to cover the lawn. Thursday at noon about a foot. Seems like all the highways in western Manitoba are snow packed, icecovered or closed. This includes the Trans-Canada Routes hwy 1 and hwy 16. And this is in a province where we KNOW how to move snow, clean roads and drive in the white stuff. Been a number of nasty accidents, but so far my pager has stayed silent greatwhite is parked. I'm walking to work because theres no where to go, and no one can get into my store to shop anyway. Daughter and I put about 50 miles on the Cats Thursday aft. Stuck about 8 times This is good, means there is snow.

 

Hum, it was 70 here yesterday, too bad it was raining. Supposed to be 65 here today.<br><br>Morph.

 

I must be warped. Love winter. Went to Cancun for a week in Jan 2001, and all I could think was this is nice, but I could be snowmobiling. Waste of beautiful weather, couldn't fit my Norton into my suitcase . Don't like lousy road conditions, but we don't get them too often. Snow is usually dry and just blows off. Now spring, theres a crappy season, all dirty and mucky.
