atv trails in colorado

Looking for some people who know some good places to ride atv's in Colorado. I know that you can ride atv's on a lot of the OHV trails. But I am looking for places that would be more exclusive to atv's. We ride sport bikes, and so the more challenging the better. We will probably be mostly southwest of Denver, so that would be the best, but I would be up for anything. Thanks in advance.

One of the best places around here for ATV's is an area for them, and maintained by ATV clubs, by Texas Creek, Colorado. Very easy to find and access.

If your in southern Colorado there is also a good trail that goes above tree line about 80 miles to the southwest of Pueblo. PM me if you want details...

Canon City huh? I'm from Breckenridge, but moved to North Carolina some years ago. I do really miss the mountains sometimes. We used to go camp at the Yogi Bear there all the time, and go to the high school marching band thing in town. I think it's been about 5 years since we've been. I especially like the mini train

I went through Breckenridge a couple of years ago. It's not like it used to be.
I could only afford to stay a couple of hours!
It reminds me more and more of Vail and Aspen everytime I go through there.

I'm looking for a place to camp that has ATV trails. I hate leaving my truck out in the middle of nowhere. Is either of these like that?

As far as I know you can camp right by the trail head.

Jack, I live right down the road from Yogi Bear. The marching band thing was probably in May at Blossom Festival. And they have a tourist train that runs through the Royal Gorge now.

Just southwest of Denver is the Rampart Range area in the Pike National Forest that the dirt bikers and atv'rs flock too every weekend. I cant remember the number or length of all the trails but it is quite a bit. If I recall they even have them marked beginner, intermediate and advanced and you can camp there at least in certain areas.
