ATV trails around spring, tx
I hear that spring creek isn't navigable water, I also hear the cops are cracking down around Bender's Landing.
'Fat man's land' is called Outlaw park (it's where the white people go, the other park is like Mexico), $5 to park there and the land you really ride on is owned by the school district. In Crosby you can cross from one side of the San Jacinto to the other side in one place that's navigable and that is down under the bridges (I think that's called the beach) if you ride a water wheelie across and the tide is low enough, I've actually seen it low enough so that you don't have to wheelie across if you have high enough snorkles.
Anyway...... I type a lot. But I might be riding out at Crosby this weekend if I don't have to work.

I ride out there quite a bit as well as Fat mans, Mels (other side of Crosby) Soggy Bottoms, and occasionaly General Sams. I ride Sams mostly on event weekends like Muddy Gras that was out there a few weeks ago.
Denny (Owner of General Sams) and I had a disagreement a few years ago about a charity event I hosted so i don't go much. I will say the park has gotten much better with time. Their are quite a few trails out there, where you used to ba able to ride all of them in a couple of hours.
I live in Magnolia too. There are no trail systems out here that I know of.
I go to Crosby, there is a park off hwy 90 there. I use to live in Galveston and know that park well since it was the closest. You can also go to General Sams up in Huntsville. I've ridden spring creek a few times too late night but you need to be with someone out there that knows the trails and where to avoid the cops at.
What do you ride? You are welcome to join my group if you have snorkles and mud tires.

no snorkle -- just fast
Its a pipeline right of way that goes from magnolia dang near to Plantersville. I have family in Todd Mission and we always ride out there. Lots of hunters out there, so be careful, they get a little jealous.

i grew up ridin spring creek and still go down there when i have time. i go to broken bridge and 2nd beach the most. you can ride down there for days and still not run out of trails. in middle school i used to live down there almost, was campin and ridin down there every weekend with the pals. the cops that are down there are there to make sure that you arent puttin your trash in the water or going down some of the waterways that you arent supposed to like in oak ridge. also there cause for a while people were bringing guns and gettin way to drunk and startin fights. the next time me and the pals are going for a ride ill pm ya
