ATV tire chains
I'm looking to get tire chains for my grizzly to help push snow this winter.
Anyone know what style or brand is the best for snow and ice and maybe where the best (cheapest) place to purchase them would be?
thanks in advance, Mooseman

Mooseman, I don't know about chains but all my buddies in Ohio use 1/4" bolts through the tires. Talk about traction, those things will climb a tree like a bear was chasing them.

Those are really fancy and nice.
There are some normal ones cheap on e-bay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Used-...spagenameZWDVW
and here's a retailer of cheaper regular chains.

I sure like the looks of the ones Totallyrad posted. Might be worth the extra price.

try www.Tirechains.com, they are near Johnstown. PA, and if they can't fit the tire, they sell all the parts. I have used them for rear chains for my truck and tractor.

I just cut down some normal pickup tire chains to the right lenght(with my air pressure lower than normal) threw them on and added a little extra air. Some tarp straps for tighteners and it lasted all winter.

My wife purchased us a house for a rental and while cleaning out the shed today I found 3 sets of chains hanging on the wall and believe it or not they fit like a charm on the front and rear.
I wanted a 2 link and these are a 4 link but the price was right so ill live with them.
Thanks for the replies guys, mooseman
