Unhappy Arrrrgh!! Ready for fall weather.

We're still running low 80's during the days here in eastern OK and I came home this evening to find that the AC on the house (mobile home) had quit during the day. Haven't torn into it yet but the fan on the compressor unit runs and it doesn't sound like the compressor kicks in. Midnight now and it's only down to 71* outside and still 77* inside with the fans running trying to cool it down. (insert sweating smiley here)

I know that it's a 34 year old Coleman compressor but I really wanted it to last another year or two until I moved. Any suggestions as to what to look for?

Feel free to send some cool weather down here so that I can ignore it until spring.

I know what you mean. I am so sick of this heat. We have had highs in the low 90s for weeks. Geesh, will FALL ever get here?

We had a pretty (by North Texas standards) mild summer and lots of rain early. But we are sort of making up for it now. It is time for a cool off. I love fall and winter! Bring me some SNOW and I will be a happy camper!!!

i am ready for the fall weather to finally come too. today we were burning brush out at the church that i am a member of.

it was annoying cause we couldnt do hot dogs over the fire, cause with the heat from the fire + the mid 80 temps it was too hot.

im ready for the 40 and 50 temps.

Well, we're finally getting a bit of a break. Cool front moved thru this morning and it's supposed to get down to 58* tonight. We'll see. Regardless,it is starting to feel more like fall.
