I have already made a few spud scuds.......... but I am wanting to kick it up a notch and make a pumpkin chunkin cannon. I won't be using flamables on the pumpkin cannon, but I want to put about 125 psi of air pressure on it. Am I looking at death here?????
I am talking about 1 foot in diameter pvc.

AND DON`T FORGET YOU SOME HOW HAVE TO REINFORCE THE BREECH.
I WAS WATCHING ONE ON TV AND PUNKIN STUCK SPLIT STEEL BARREL ,

Black sewer pipe is not PVC but ABS. It uses different glue and is not rated for much pressure. If you are not sure, use schedule 40 or schedule 80 PVC. Then no worries.
