A quick note for those here..<br>I had a sign in sheet up front most of the day and most did not put what board they were from or their user names,so if I missed anyone here that dyno'ed you are on the sheets by you first name and last inital.<br><br>Total truck count was 75 at any given time as they were coming and going all day.62 Dodges-12 Fords-1 Chevy with a total of 50 trucks spinning the &quot;Humbler&quot; in 11hrs total.I had a total count of 80 signed in on the event registration sheet and know some were missed when they pirated my table for the food to be put out.<br><br>Kauffman Motorsports did a slam bang job its seems like each time we are there it just gets better.For those who came from this site i say thank you from our group and we look forward to the next happening.......Andy

Andy, in the racing circles I was associated with , we always refered to the chassis dyno as the &quot;Lie Detector&quot; <br><br>I was glad to see your truck there.<br>Forgot to ask what kind of wax you're using.<br>Man, I have never seen a truck so shiny. 8)<br><br>Hope you can make the Drags on the 27th.

Ol Gene stepped it up a bit too. 557 aint too shabby for #2 only.&quot;..Said Don<br><br>Not to shabby Don,I think I'd say it puts a end to the famed rumor about Mitchells &quot;407 hp&quot; motors.Remember this when running Gene's numbers thru your head also,his truck still has the 180hp smog pump on it that from when he picked it up out in Nevada a few years ago.Makes that number seem even better to me and the trucks bugs are not quite all sorted out,but,its close.<br><br>Shovelhead..<br>I wish I would have had a case of that wax for the show,man it would have went fast.Thanks for the kudos on my truck,I do try to keep it slick and clean.I'll make sure ya get a bottle of the wax to use to make that smooth looking Sport shine.You should have seen Andy Sebeks face when he crawled underneath the truck looking it over.I am going to try to make MIR the 27th we'll se how it goes.I'll be just getting back to work after this long recovery.I appreciate the kind thoughts and words of praise from you also yesterday you are a true friend.<br><br>Maybe next year we can get Don~ to come East and join us for the show and all of our story telling.......Andy

Andy, <br>I would have loved to come to this event yesterday. I just could not find the time to get up there. I will try my best to roll up there next year. <br>The &quot;407HP truck&quot; thing was not anything I ever said though. <br><br>Gene did pretty good IMO and I was not trying to be an ***.<br>I was serious. Gene actually has a few (26) horsies on me at this time, although I still have a tired old HX40, stock camshaft, and the stock delivery valves. I guess my 215 HP pump is the equalizer, kinda anyway.<br><br>Hopefully I will be able come up for next years event.<br><br>Don~<br>

Don~..<br>I knew you were not busting Genes stones,but,just making a observation.I'd have to say he has reached the limit of the 180 pump though and may need some help to feed it from the rear.<br><br>I am not sold on the twins yet myself.Yes,they help with egts BUT guys are making as much power with a single compressor.Only thing you get with the twins is longevity,especially pulling(that means dirt and its not for my truck,LOL).At the Buck this year one comment that sticks in my head still was this one from Dave Mitchell-&quot;I can make the same HP with a single turbo,but,its hard to make them live for sled pulling&quot; .<br><br>dieseldude-Sled Puller even had his Amsoil hat and shirt on to match his graphics on his truck,maybe thats where the extra HP came from......
