Well, I am actually going to Kansas for Christmas, but my in-laws really live in Lewis, which is 200 miles away... It wasn't that much of a stretch...

Of course you had to make me feel bad by being generous and such. You were supposed to panic and try to avoid of me, not offer me cookies!

Well, that's what most people do when I'm in the area... Some people and their hospitality...

(And I actually have some oatmeal raison cookies in the oven right now... Mmm Mmm MmmmmMMMmmm MMMMM!)

Morning folks...

SR, have a safe trip. And if you happen to have a spare MK. 19 around anyplace, could you send it my way. The traffic around here could use a little thinning out.

Wet and rainy today. Not much fun but we sure can use the rain. Something like 6" behind for the year so far.

Only a couple more hours of DWI and I start my weekend.

Everyone have a gud 'un.

(Trying to be quiet for Bob, I figured he deserved to sleep in today).
Cuttin' out of here early to get some ATV'in in. Cold front finally came in and you can safely be outside.

Chris, hows that barn coming? I heard 5'ver Bob is handy with a paint brush if you need help

Joel, haven't seen any news about a meltdown in New England, I assume everything is going well.

Ed, I'm watching the microwave to make sure chaikwa doesn't go near it.

Weird weather happenings 'round here.
Some kinda wet stuff falling out of the sky.
First real rain we've seen since August.

Not much on the "To-Do List" so far, but it is Friday, so it's possible for anything to drop out of thin air until 1530hrs.

Coffee's ready, need to go find sumthin' to eat.

y'all B safe,

You're all safe for now. I only do that in the winter when I'm inside for awhile, my feet sweat, then I hafta go out in the cold. I HATE cold feet, so the nuker makes the socks dry and toasty!

Have to do a preliminary screening on a 14 year old today to see if he's appropriate for our juvenile firesetters intervention program. He lit a porta-potty on fire. Dunno if I'll be able to keep a straight face thru that or not!

Have a dandy day!

HEY BOB!!! YOU AWAKE? Rob says you want to help me paint my new barn........Bob?

Actually I got about half of it done yesterday, and ought ot be finished with the paint today. I'll post a pic of the finished product once I get everything finished, maybe in about a month..
COLD here ..down to 38F last night. My skinny self aint built fer cold weather, no insulation to keep me warm...

Begle, if you make it over this way, I'd be pleased to have ya stop by, but only if YOU bring the cookies....oatmeal/raisan...mmmmmmmmm

I need to get started on this box of doughnuts or the day shift will think I've been slackin'

Yall have a good one,
Chris

VOLUNTEER??? WHO ME???? PAINT BRUSH???? WHO ME???? sssshhhhhhh, still asleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

You guys are killing with me with your generosity - - of my time. And Kansas - - I was just there - - and it was cold and raining so hard I just hoped no one was in front of me. Paint brush??? I keep getting my hands all a mess and leaving streaks on the wall - - the wife finally pointed out I am holding the wrong end.

Raining still down here - - more for the next couple days. We sure need it - - nice steady long rains which will soak in really good. Hee hee, I can't paint either when it's raining. WHAT???? YES DEAR!!! I was just informed I can still paint inside - - wow, I didn't know that.

Weather related

You guys talking about your weather.....we had about a foot of the da*m white stuff falling Wednesday.... Blizzard conditions here in the northern part of central North Dakota (I'm 10 miles south of the Canadian border). Power was out for a large portion of the state, some of the rural folks here in Rolette County might not get their electricity back till tomorrow; I'm just glad it's still 25/30 above at night, and not 25/30 below zero. Snow was heavy and WET, I bet it had 2 or 3 inches of moisture in it, atleast. It's really sloppy under it right now. Road crews are having a heck of a time winging it off the gravel roads, they are so muddy and sloppy.

At any rate, hope you all have a great weekend "weather" or not your inside or outside

DuWayne

Thats why I dont live any further north than I do... YEEECH
I'd rather be back in Southern OK or Tx than where I am now..at least "cold" there is in the 50's and "freezing" usually means the 40's......

SNOW?
Mornin folks,,,, Geeze,, I don't even want to think about any snow,,,,, it's a good thing I was born down south,,,,, I would never of made it up north! I can take all the heat and humidity you can throw at me,,,,,,, I just hate to be cold. Not enough insulation in the right places I guess.
One graveyard down and one to go,,,,,,, then it's vacation time! Bad part is,,,,, I've got a list of "domestic chores" that will take more time to do than I have days off. Oh well,,,,, How about you folks get a move on and someone get in here to relieve me so I can go home.

Y'all have a nice weekend!
