OK Shovelhead - - keep that crap up there. Now my daughter calls and says she has been down with fever and the rest of the "goodies" all weekend. Don't need that stuff.
Sun, sun, sun. Going up to 91 today, but rain on the way for the next few days mixed with sun. We need the rain, but that changes my plans. So, I will concentrate on the inside honey dews. HMMM, where is the beginnning of that list. Can't seem to find it.

ps: going to hook up the fiver and leave again - - fooey on all this work.

As a tech who had to maintain the AN/SPS-49 V(5) air search radar I take exception to that
The biggest problem with that radar wasn't the 'trons, it was the sea water heat exchanger and closed loop distilled water chilling system for the klystron. I was more plumber for that radar than twidget. Spent enough time in the machinery space tagging stuff out to get to the orifice plate that the MM's thought I was A-gang

See above post for a reason to start the day with a smile!!
Good Morning DTR'rs!

Been a long night at work, loads of male cattle digestive remainders circulating around.

Mornin'.
Snausage-n-egg sammich was Mmmm-Mmmmm good this morning.
'Specially since I made it.
G-G roared to life after the last parts were received and installed last evening.
Tonight all that's left is exhaust heat Shields, and some "body" type parts.
Looks like I'm getting off about $1500 cheaper than the dealer price for the work that was performed.(and that includes the purchase price of the 3 special tools I had to buy)
With the news saying that diesel fuel is up 20 cents/gal since the weekend, I'm ready to go back to 5 gallons of gas a week for commuting.
Y'all B safe,

Poor Iker ... that young 'un gets cut off at the knees every time !!!

Good thing you gave Iker the pre-emptive strike Chris. Attractive family you have (and probably a good thing you work security).
Started car pooling today (should have been yesterday
). I will only have to drive to work every other week, possibly every third week if we get the other guy who is interested. What will I do with all the "extra" money I save? (I'll just go ahead and say it: "I know, pay the plumber"
, figured I would beat one of y'all to the punch).
Chris, ya got me in trouble last night. My wife and I share our office at home. She was there when I pulled up the pic of your daughters. I got the "Aw geeze" look. Oh well, nice barn too.

And I just happen to be spending a couple weeks in Kansas for Christmas this year...
Is Carbondale very far from Mineral Springs, Kansas?

Sorry Rob... jest remind her that she looks better than that to you and you'll be fine.. that line works for me when the BOSS catches me eyeballing something
at least usually it does....
Never works for me ... wifey always asks what color her eyes were .. "heck, I didn't even notice that she even HAD eyes !!"
Man ... I wish I could just stay home today. I feel fine but have a dental appointment to get the fangs cleaned. I hate dentists. They don't seem to understand when they stuff that cardboard thing in my mouth to take an xray ... it ain't stayin !!! And they may have to change their smock and mop the floor.
Have a great day and remember ....
Nothing is more rewarding than to watch someone who says it can't be done, get interrupted by someone actually doing it.

PW, they seem to design those things to gag ya dont they.. and I think they sharpen the edges on purpose...
Begle, I had never heard of Mineral Springs, but when I put it in MapQuest, it shows a spot in the highway about 4 miles from my house!!
I drive through it at least twice a day and theres nuttin there....
I was a cop here for a looong time and never heard of it....go figure.
If where you are going to be is about 12 miles south of Topeka on Hwy 75, then your just a couple of minutes from me...
I'll have the BOSS make up an extra dozen Xmas cookies.......

Mornin' all,
Second day of carpooling and I am getting used to just being a passenger. That is nice. Was kinda weird thinking about the fact that I didn't have a vechicle in the parking lot and wouldn't be able to leave when I wanted to if I had to.
Chris, me wonders if Begle didn't look at mapquest first and just happened to pick a place near Carbondale
Joel, you getting that reactor torn down and keeping chaikwa in line?
PW, good luck at the dentist (and don't think about the fact that the person taking the x-rays was probably a deck ape just 3 days before and just cross-decked to dental tech
)
5'ver Bob, get up and get to work, you are being lazy.
