When i did MARRS rescue at Bear Mountain we wore a lanyard with a folded, bunched up and sewn piece of hollow webbing called a screamer...because when you fell and it was activated it sounded like a scream as it absorbed the shock by coming undone...I think I outscreamed it when we tested them.

Oh to be in my early twenties again and survive them...again!
