Anyone here running Windows XP on a Mac???

I'm thinking about buying a new laptop and am checking out the MacBook Pro.

Nice laptop but I'll need to run XP on it as well and am wondering how well those OS software switchers ( Mac <--> XP ) work these days.

I've read you don't even have to reboot, just a keystroke will switch from Windows to Mac OS and back.

Thanks,

DT.

To do that, use Paralells . . it will allow you to boot XP in a window . .
I have it on a Mini . . runs great.

Thanks for the response Rampage.

So Windows comes up in a Mac window?

Can the two OS's share files on the disk? Like if you create an Mac Word doc using the Mac OS, can you copy it to the Windows disk/file system?

I have alot of external backup disk space on my XP machine that I'd like to use to backup Mac files as well.

Thanks again,

DT.

*******UPDATE***************

Since the newest of Mac's have Intel-based processors, couldn't you run OSX and XP in a dual boot format like Linux and Windows? Just wondering.
