It did pop a bone or two in the process.
They say a broken foot is easier to deal with compared to a severely sprained foot.

Glad they let you out errr no i mean your back ……..and it looks like the doctor has adjusted your meds just right. Now take both of them with a small glass of water …………maybe lay down for a few minutes. You’ll feel all better.

Sounds sprained to me. Keep it elevated and keep plenty ice on it. Stop trying to walk on it for a week or so, and if you have a good ankle and foot wrap do so to help with the excess fluid in the foot. I've sprained my foot many times, not hard to do when riding on dirtbikes, atvs, etc.
Never broke my foot, but i have broke my clavicle rolling a 4 wheeler. Broke clean off. Didn't hurt til they showed me the xray, then I got sore...had 2 surgeries to repair it.

Well just heard back from the doc and after looking at the x-rays he says its just severely sprained. he said to stay off it for the rest of the week. I dont think thats going to happen. Got alot of wood to split for delivery this weekend. When I wrap it up real good and tie my boot nice and tight it dont really hurt that bad so thats what I guess we will do.

Good to hear. I remember when I broke my shoulder the first time. I thought I just bruised a muscle. I could raise my arm to 90º but that was it. 3 days later I was able to see the doctor and found out I broke my humeral head. Split it right down the middle!

Never broken my foot but I broke my wirst.
About 8 years ago on 04/30/2001 I broke my wrist and I was pretty sure of this even before they took the x-rays.
I did this at work so I had to load up my tools, lock the gate and drive about 30 miles to pick up my wife and then we went to the Emergency Room, I splinted it was a piece of corrugated cardboard packed it with ice in a plastic bag from the freezer and tied it on with a long strip of a towel I was then able to drive myself to the hospital by wrapping a rag around my hand and then rolled it up in the window.
The pain was off the scale and it took all the concentration that I had to keep me from passing out from shock.
When I got to the ER one look at my purple hand and they took my right in.
My first clue that it was broken was I was pretty sure my hand was not supposed to lie flat against my wrist when I held it up in the air.
The way that it broke it stretched the nerve over the end of the jagged bone and caused all kind of nerve damage
Fracture-dislocation of the distal radius.
After the doctors set my hand, it took 2 big doctors holding on to me while the other doctor did the twisting and crunching they put me in an awkward full cast with my hand cocked backwards, because of the way the nerve was stretched over the bone for so long there were no drugs strong enough to make the pain go away.
I slept sitting up in a recliner for 3 months.
After having it in a cast for about three and a half months and rebroken twice it finally came off, it is screwed up to this day.
