Anyone attending the inauguration?
Just wondered if anyone in the DC area was going to attend the inauguration?
Are the government offices open that day? Just wondered what the gridlock would be like due to the security. Wondered if you would be better off calling in sick than trying to navigate that mess.

The government as well as most businesses (except restaurants & hotels of course) in the area are shutting down.
I'll be at work from 0600 until 1800 due to the nature of my job & work site.

I don't even see why they have to have one.
I don't remember the oath including "only for the next 4 years".
He's already sworn in, he's already the President.
I can think of a lot better ways to spend $40million.

If DTR would have been around then, we would have heard from them.
I'm bipartisan.
Democrat or Republican, I'm sure we could figure out how to do it for a heck of a lot cheaper.
