anybody else race offroad?
after building a couple prerunners and only goofing off in the dirt, i finaly picked up my first vehicle to build actualy for racing. i picked up a used class 9 buggy. as slow as they may be compared to super high dollar races vehicles, am totaly stoaked to get it ready for next season.. just wondering if there was anybody else that races these is on here or any other class of off road racing?

There was a GNCC in Texas. it was the first race on the 2004 schedule. Not sure where in Tx. I didn't make the 2 day drive to that one. To h*ll with just going to watch. Grab a bike ( or quad) and come join us. There is a class for any skill level and the fun meter is off the chart for sure !!!

yea GNCC counts!! its off road isnt it? so it counts in my book..
but i wouldent exactly say class 9 buggys are high dollar.. they are just all tube chassis with fiberglass body and a 1600cc VW engine. but they are rich in fun! ill post a pic soon.. :-)

Looks fun to me. No need to shine it up with bells and whistles, they will just get broke anyway. I would love to take a lap in it. I don't think it would fit through the trees too well where i race though.
