I am doing a Low budget set of compounds with the stock 03 turbo for the high pressure and I am not sure whether I want an S472 With race cover or the S480 with race cover,
I have 90hp DDP Injectors, II Modded CP3, Fire Ringed head, And I will ad a second CP3 later on.

What is your suggestions? I need to figure this out asap. Thank you.

 

Since your going to run a stock turbo you should go with s s400....there is to big of a gap between the stock turbo and a s480, but im not sure with the s472

 

Whats your HP goals???I'd say T-6 1.10 ar, 72 mm,but really no need for the 80 with a stock charger.

 

Say you wanted to add a bigger high pressure turbo later would the 480 still be drivable with a stock charger?

 

I'd try to find a stock 04.5+ turbo. It will support the hp a little better. A 72mm will handle 650 easily.

Listen to what Idaho CTD (Nathan from MPI) has to say, he knows what he's talking about! I like the idea of porting the wastegate on the stocker.

My goal is to stay anywhere from 650 to 750. Im pretty sure I will be happy in that neigborhood. I also think that the S472 will satisfy the 2.8 rule in my pulling class so maybe its best to go with that one if I decide to pull with that truck too.
