We collect 'em. Anything Rare, but more of the orange (read "better") ones. I think we're up to around 110-115 tractors again...about 15 of those are completely restored! The biggest problem with this many tractors, is you can't keep them all running, and some of them stick!

My collection of '1', haha. The Farmall Super A is like a Swiss Army Knife--it doesn't do any one thing all that well, but it does just about everything well enough to get the job done. It's done the work of a 30hp machine with no complaints...just done it a LOT slower, heh. Could use some valve seals and the right size tires. Unrestored/original is how it'll stay 'cause I work it too much to make it pretty.

Got a few out at the farm that I plan on restoring some day.
1943 Farmall M (low production #'s that year, due to war shortages... even came on rubber!)
195? IH Farmall 400 (this one's nickname is "The Agnew Special"... went through 3 cranks the year Spiro Agnew was running for the presidency... or was it vice-pres?).
I myself collect IH Cub Cadet garden tractors. Got a 126 that's done, and a 102 and 104 that's waiting for R&R.
For you antique tractor collectors: http://www.yesterdaystractors.com
For the Cub Cadet guys: http://www.ihregistry.com
Both sites have disussion boards with lots of info!

I inheireted my Grandpas Farmall H that he bought new. I grew up using it as did my Mom. I'm restoring it but will also continue using it to rake hay with and the occasional antique pull or 2. I'm needing a Farmall 350 head for it as the original head has a crack. The 350 head adds a little power to the old girl. I also have a 1964 Massey Ferguson Super 90 that I use on the farm that has the Perkins 302 diesel in it. She's a hoss and a good machine but I'm going to upgrade to something in the other shade of red one of these days like a 966-1466 model.

I don't collect antique tractors, I just own one. 1958 Ford 841D with the 4 speed and live 540 rpm PTO. I'm using it to maintain my property in Surry, VA. Looks like heck but it pulls good. I can fill to overflowing a six foot box blade and drag wet sand in 3rd. Oh, the "D" stands for Diesel.

I got a late 50's Ford 861 Diesel, 5 Speed, Live PTO, Dual Stage Clutch.
Like the rest of you it's more of a work tractor than a collector, but I do have new fenders and some miscellaneous other stuff sitting in the garage. With new paint and a little work it could hold it's own at one of the local tractor shows.

I got some new one's too, but I got a 1952 JD B, a Ford 2n, and an Oliver 1955 diesel that dynoed 131hp, but it's only from the early 70's so I don't know if it qualifies as antique?

Yup, been wanting a 430 since I was a (younger) kid. The little Yanmar has over 3200 hours on it! It's smooth, quiet, very fuel efficient and quite powerful. It very well may have been built at some point (only owned it for 100 of those 3200 hours) but either way it runs great. I got it from the local dealer for what he allowed on it for trade (2500). With a full hydraulic blade and 60'' deck I'm calling it a steal. Seen 'em go on e-bay for well over 4k with the slam bam paint job and ''the hour meter stopped working at some point'' runaround. I'm very pleased with it. And now back to old tractors
