See? He thinks you're talking about whacking the chainsaw and he's offering his hammer. It's a subliminal message even HE doesn't get. He's so frustrated with his Stihl, but doesn't even realize it, that he's willing to beat the thing trying to get it to work. Or even START for that matter.
