89 w150 with 318 wont start easy

hello well i got this 89 dodge w150 4x4 with the 318 and i removed the emissions and the truck ran fine for a little while after all of a sudden i broke the fuel line off at the pump and fixed that, now the truck will not start easy, i removed the line at the tbi and plenty of fuel and then i looked in the tbi and there is fuel going in(enough to start on) and only problem i got is it wont catch on, i dident touch the timing at all, but i have to keep cranking for a good 30 seconds before it sputters and just catches on and then will run but as soon as i floor it it will die and idle down really low after, i also put all new fuel line in to. the motor also back fired out the tbi a few times to. thats what leads me to believe that it's timing. but apparently on these motors i cant play with timing. any help?

check the timing chain. I don't know haw many miles you have but I have seen more than one jump a tooth or break entirely. check your distributor timing if it is way off the chain is suspect

try tapping it lightly with a rubber mallet while pulling on it. Double check your fuel lines back to the tank also.
