400,000 miles
While pulling a load of pipe and a filter seperator thru Houston yesterday on my way back to the house BBD rolled 400,000 miles.
I have a small power steering leak I have to deal with but thats it.
The truck has 374,000 bombed miles. the 47re is all original except for the tc, vb, and 1 second gear band. Not bad huh for all thoses towing miles.
Bombing doesnt shorten the life of the engine, it just helps you get there faster.

Ill be at 400,000 in a couple of weeks. Only replaced the vp44 once. Thats the only real "engine" part so far. She'll be 4 years old in March.

Thats the only things under the hood.
Where is the engine block number and ill look in the morning.
You know thats around 880 quarts of oil and +- 28,571 gallons of diesel. At $1.39 a gallon thats $39,713 in fuel. Mercy, no wonder its so hard to make a profit now a days.
