Just wait till you get a week or two at -40* or colder. -19* will seem like a heat wave and you'll run around in t-shirt and shorts!

I went riding on Sunday morning when me and my buddy left the trailhead it was 3 degrees, and we climbed about a thousand feet. Once we got up on the ridge the wind was blowing and all the hair on the mules was frosted and frozen. I took a bunch of beer and after a couple swallows it would freeze in my hand so I had to drink it really fast.

There have been a few people up here that have swallowed hard liquor after it was setting outside in the way below temps. Not a good idea if it is -20* the alcohol dosen't freeze but it is still -20* and will freeze your throat all the way down. Very painfull and potentially fatal. I think wiskey is still liquid at -70*

Also gotta be carful if you have to change a gelled fuel filter at -45*. The fuel is also at -45* and can freeze flesh!

Well this is beer and it will freeze alot quicker than hard liquor, I personally don't like hard liquor.

Alaska and Utah is apples and oranges when it comes to temp and the coldest it has been is -20 at night. I have been in I think -67 at the top of Jackson Hole ski resort and that wasen't counting the wind chill, and I can tell you this I wasen't drinkin anything they woulden't even let us outside.

Wind chill sucks. I spent some time in Laramie Wyoming and the wind there was NASTY. Espescialy in the winter. Give me -45 without wind anyday.
