How's a guy supposed to troll at that speed ? It'd be a little hard to feel the fish bite when you're jiggling around like that !!!

Use that for a liberty boat into Manila Bay !!

I imagine that would burn some amount of fuel. These kinds of boat are all over Lk. St. Clair on sunny weekends in the summer. There are quite a few 100+ mph boats but 155 is pushing the pucker factor. Blackjack will do 40 mph with a tail wind of about 20

Not only is it an incredibly expensive hobby, but dangerous as well. Not just for you, but for everyone else as well; especially when overtaking someone with closure speeds in excess of 120 mph on the water for most boats. It can be rather enlightening when going a measely 60 and be passed like you're standing still.

We used to have a fellow in our boat club that ran a 40' Skater with a pair of gas turbines - 170+. A very professional and safe boat owner, he and his throttleman left us in early April doing what they loved.

That little video lasted a couple of minutes, I bet they consumed as much gasoline in that run as I burn in the Mustang in a month. But I know it was a thrilling 5 mile run!

I was waiting for the boat to be overtaken by the wind forces and flip over! It sure would be hard to turn if a boat got in your path though!

Would have been nice to see some other views during that run.

Maybe a side view, see you blowing by everything,
a dashboard view showing speed and fuel guage dropping like a rock.

155 is amazing...I think anything over 80 and you become a pilot...not a driver. I am speaking of bass boats though. An Allison XB-21 with a 2.5 merc. should be good for over 100 with the correct prop....and anyone with the cash can go get one ....my dream bass boat. I would most certainly need training before working the throttle....JKE
