What a terrible place you two live in. I still don't take the keys out of the vehicles here. I'd move if I was you, find some place that is safe and the people don't bother you. Also most of the country is not suffering from unemployment, bad area you live in.

Sounds like you have a nice place to live out in the country Nat and Dieselminded, except for the trouble makers.I used to live until I moved and had 12 days to buy a house here in NC. I came from upstate NY, while I only owned 2 acres, my old next door neighbor lady had 200 surrounding me that she let me use as my own!!!! Now I live in a subdivision southeast of Raleigh, I have some "good" friends, but I hate it, Presently looking for a plot to buy, but land is $$$$$$$ around here.

Everyone can't live in Branchville, Alabama. This may be Hooterville, but it's home. I'd hate to have to dig-up dad again just to replant him somewhere's else...
Truthfully crime rate is increasing around here and college kids often run out of gasoline or breakdown (Appalachian State University is here) and my kin folks, that's a whole 'nother story. Nat

Its not that bad really just when some people git a few bush lights (poor mans beer) in them they can tend to get exporitive . My lane is off the main highway and its the only drive way between 2 towns that you cant see the house ...so its a prime spot to pull over and drink , smoke or whatever . So I really dont keep an eye out for them ,but my dog lets me know when they are their. so I investigate and your not always sure if its a cyote , bobcat or something of that nature so I grab the 870 and jump on the king quad and check it out if its people well then they tend to take off when they see the gun if its something else Id be lucky to get a shot off. as for unemployment bush might be doing the right thing over their but he is neglecting what going on over here, (not saying that im not going to vote for him so get off me)The 2 town I live between are drying up real bad ...plants closing ,stores out of bisness and all that everybody that lives around me drives 50+ mile to get a decent job. I also leave my keys in my truck and my garage door open if the truck fires when Im sleeping ....by the time they get it turned around (trees everywhere) theyll have buckshot flyin' at em' ...........have a nice day
