I'm proud to say I wore the AF Blue for over 20 years. However, I have in front of me a pamphlet from the Marines. It is titled Thunder and Silence.

If you have never seen the Silent Drill Team, make a point of doing so. It will make any American proud. The Commandants Own and the Colors of Memory...

This plug is for you Madhat.

Hand.....Salute.....

I was being quite sincere in my comments. And I wasn't just speaking of the way they looked, but also in the way they conducted themselves. Pure professionalism all the way! Kinda put a lump in my throat just watching them.

Yep ... I gotta agree with the professionalism of the Marines. Best of the bunch in that respect !!

Now, if we could just get them to quit clogging up the chowline and "chumming" all over the deck every time we get the ship underway ....they MIGHT make pretty good Sailors !!

OOH-RAH !!

Ready, TWO!!!
Thank you, Sir. I am very proud of all my brothers and sisters in arms. The silent drill team brings goose bumps to my whole body every time that I see them. I have seen them in person 2x, and they are amazing.

I know you were, I was talking about everything else in general. I know you a little, Scott. I can tell when you are serious... most of the time. I think that the new coffee maker shut down the whole grid this morning trying to run our 'special' blend through. Funny, I can't find a coffee cup that lasts more than 3 days...

What do you expect?!?!? I think that Eleanor Roosevelt said, "...Marines have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any one that I have ever met..." No thanks on the invite to be a sailor. I do have SOME self respect...

The first step is denial... it's ok, buddy. I'm on the booze bus with you.

Check your left and right latteral limits and PDF before you start opening up. Friendly fire isin't...

Tried to come in this am around 0540 or so, but the place was shut down. No lights on anywhere, doors locked up tight. I was scared that I had been abandoned, like the janitors parents did to him so many years ago...!
Coffee's on, looks like a nice day. Be safe out there this weekend, watch out for all the crazy drivers out there!

Must have been one heck of a party at DTR headquater's last night. Jack & Top started wrestling around (after many brewskis) and knocked the server over! They didn't figure it out until 9:00am! lol

Now if we can just get the janitor up and get this mess cleaned up we can start the day!

Not gonna freak me out, I've seen a picture of Scott. Besides, think of the phrase, 'Female MARINE...' And why do I need a new hobby? What's wrong with making grown men cry?

Second that!! Wait... already happened. Now I have 3 kids and a house payment!

Going to take the family on yet ANOTHER family vacation tomorrow, we're gonna get a nice hotel room in Columbia, and then go to this big zoo on Monday. I'm trying to be a good father. I hope that they sell beer there!

Got this picture of one of my baby that I am trying to post, hope I can get it to fit. It's real funny.
