I'll bet he remembers that one on his own ...those are the best lessons learned.

My boy spent some quality time eyeballing his electrical system today while dad drank a beer and pointed ...he re-traced his steps and traced his wires. Got down to the fusible link ....and then the light came on .
He had the fusible link connected to the neg post ... .

He's back on the road and I bet he won't have that problem again.

Cheers,

I have come to believe he just isn't happy unless he is complaining about something...I told him TWICE in a couple of his other rants about not being able to log on to call me and I would help him with it, but no call yet........so it must not be too bad.

Evening folks.....how goes it? LONG day at work today.....not much going on which makes for a horrible 12 hr shift. Dinner of cold pizza and left over burgers was actually quite tasty!! The Shiner beer, much like last night, is still going down smooth.....although fewer tonight than last night!! Hittin the hay about 10'ish. Got stuff to do in the morning and need to feel chipper. I guess chackywas breakroom title is spot on.....doesn't it say something about free beer????? When do we get it?? I have all the toilet paper I need. Glad we got the whole identity issue out in the open.....that had some of us a bit perplexed. Alright, gotta get ready to wind down.

Later.

It turns out her mechanic left the lug nuts loose the day before and eventually all of the lug studs snapped off. She kicks herself because she knew something was wrong and like your son, couldn't figure out what. Unlike your son, she kept driving

Her mechanic paid to put an entire new steering knuckle on her vehicle but that wouldn't have been much solace if she died.
Very lucky young lady indeed.

You've got my sympathy. I had a 13 and a 15 this week, 70 total. I'm beat.

I've been having a time here with this dirt. The company wouldn't let me get the right stone to fix this crap in the beginning but as soon as it looks like the trucks won't get in and out we're off to buying the right stuff. A big chunk of today was spent cutting out the stuff we started with and replacing it with larger stone. Now I hope we can make this work with just two loads but I'll not hold my breath.

YOU told me that??? I honestly have no recollection of that offer what-so-ever. But rest assured, I WILL call you the next time I have trouble. The house phone or DTR business line?

I'm not happy when I see a great place with a great bunch of guys going to heck, all in the name of a buck. Especially when a few people worked so hard to get it to the point it was at. Sorry for the rants.

What a glorious Monday morning! Up an' at 'em! Smell the flowers and taste the coffee to REALLY get an appreciation for the day! Pray for those less fortunate, give thanks for what you've got!

Today is Monday, April 15th.

Sounds like my childhood... I miss that good, honest work, but I'm glad I don't have to do it for a living.

That is a true statement!

Mornin... took the day off, drinking some coffee and feeling like I've been kicked down the stairs a few times. Gotta quit being weak and go see the doc, I guess. Maybe they'll just shoot me or something. Just some mild injuries from the last deployment bothering me, nothing serious.

Rain here, and I love it. Sure is nice to be back in SC.

Hope everyone has a good, safe day.

That's a compliment in my book, thanks Sis! But I don't care if you stand on my lawn... just don't speed thru my barn yard or you'll get a shovel thru your windshield!

No more complainin' from me! I'm gonna be nice. Everyone will hate it, but I'll be nice.

Howdy people of DTR. Gonna be a nice day today....mid 80's and lots of sun. Saw where the plains states are up for more snow. Also, heard about their potential flood problems once it all starts to melt. Doesn't sound too promising for some.

Gonna get some things done this morning before I leave for class. Ya'll have a goodun. Later.
