Cool.

But it is muck and I'm trying to get 95% compaction and meet a couple other specs. Surprisingly, I've never seen soil make the compaction numbers yet pump this badly under the weight of the packer, or a person walking on it. You're right about it getting wet. We got the water from the storm that hit Denver a few days ago. We're still drying out from it and after the round of rain before that one the first dump truck on site sunk 18" before I could get him stopped.

Sask's ag and adjacent areas of Canada is claimed to be the bread basket of the world...if its not flooded or hit with drought etc. Crop loss here impacts global costs and shortages. On top of the ag industry we have oil, coal, potash, sheep lol, cattle, uranium, diamonds, etc etc.

I found damage from ice jams on the house and the garage today. Water intrusion into the house at three windows from attic and eaves...water intrusion in garage at the window and at the footing along one wall...25 feet of it!

The melt hasn't hit here yet either...just a small amount of melting but when the heat hits...not good.

Did a test run on the generator... the idle is surging...can see the throttle moving like it wants to rev up and down. Kill the choke and it dies...set choke half way and it surges...put choke on full...dies...maybe bad gas? Bad plug? Can't get it to level off or stay revved.

Ya, if you have gasahell in it, it separated in storage, and the crap in the bottom of the tank doesn't burn too good. What's in the top is going to be lower in octane, so scrap it all and put in some gas without alcohol.

When I first moved to this farm in the 70's, I sunk my 2 ton dump truck in the middle of the driveway deep enough I couldn't open the doors.
After I got it pulled out, I snuck up on the driveway with about 20 loads of field stone. None of it shows, but the driveway is solid.
