Hey gang, I just tried something new and I have to share. DW and I are both in our mid 40's and my kid sister wants us to get more exercise so she gave us a Wii for Christmas. We went and bought WiiFit Plus yesterday. Today is the second day of working out. I thought 'how much of a workout could you really get from a video game console'? It may not be anything like Madhat does in a daily workout, but I was quite amazed. You can work up a real good sweat and get the heart rate up quite effectively. Now we just have to keep it up - as I said, this is only day 2.
^^an hour of wii sports and you get drained. and i am older but wiser...
Happy New year to ya sean!
did stuff; nice warm, muddy day.
Hey ERIC!! I had posted but it disappeared....
said we missed ya and you look a lot like Blake and Madhat.....

The new games are a workout for sure. We have a an Xbox360 Kinect. He 2nd season of Kinect sports even has a calorie counter. That's a good motivational boost. Gotta play my video games to get my workout!

Great! Don't feel obligated to say anything if there's nothing to say.
Man, after all the heck I've dealt with jeep products and chrysler stuff... I would not touch a new JGC with a ten foot pole. Wait a few, they're the first new model in 2 years... gotta get the bugs worked out.
Tel doesnt need a new vehicle, but the milage on here Durango is getting close to 100k. Figured we would take a look at trading. Hah, now were just gonna pay it off this year and maybe sell it outright, or hang on to it. She really likes it, so no rush to get into something new.
That view is incredible. Im impressed!
Evening Yall
Grilled steaks for the wife and I for supper. MMMMMM MEAT! Good stuff. Even if I only had about 4 ounces of one...

Enjoying my time with the family although its dwindling too fast. Jet plane leaves on Monday.

Looking forward to tomorrow evening. The sixth annual Blake's Big Boom event is going to be bigger than ever. Aiden is looking forward to the fireworks.
I hope so as well... all three of them.
Note to self! Always check the volume before you put the earbuds in...
That's what you gotta do to get paid the big bucks.
Yeah, Im an idiot, but a fool I am not...

100k on a durango? I'd like to see that... lol. Every one I ever worked on was garbage.
Sorry you gotta leave, buddy, but that's the breadwinner's job sometimes.
Have fun with the fire works. Safety first!
Here's the bike...

Motor...

And something for my friends...

Bout to go work on the bike.

Go ahead, I can use it to preheat the water for the REAL coffee maker!
The heck with the motor, just put a set of pedals on it. That way, you won't get hurt and when you get sick of it, you can give it to Blake and HE won't get hurt on it!

I dont really even notice the oil rigs much anymore. A lot more out there than when we bought the place.
How many cc's? From the angle of the pictures the cyl looks huge.
Long busy day today but I cant remember what I did.
Madhat, THAT will be a sporty ride. DW (Dear Wife in my vernacular) and I bought a 2006 Suzuki Eiger back in October. It isn't nearly as sporty as that. We need it to be a farm hand, something between the JD lawn tractors and the IH 350 Utility (antique 4 plow factor). It is a single cylinder 400cc with a 5 speed tranny (plus high and low transfer case).
My Christmas gift from DW was a rear seat with hand-grips and 2 cargo boxes. What a good deal. We now enjoy the quad together instead of 1 at a time. I used it to go coyote hunting today. Sadly, 'yotes heard me coming but I now know where the new den is.
If that engine rebuild project is a father/son project, good on ya. My Dad rescued a broken lawn mower from someone's garbage the summer I was between grades 5 and 6. My summer project was to make that old Brigg's and Stratton engine run again. First of all it was a good father son project. Second, almost everything I need to know about has engines was learned that summer. Teachable moments are few and far between bud.

A 300 is still big enough to get in trouble with.
I learned on a B&S engine with my Dad also. Had to regrind the valves. Good experience.

It's not that big. It's a 300.
I hope so. The back fender is cracked pretty good, but I'm going to take it in to work and see if the carbon fiber guys can make me a new one

Evenin. Got the crankcase split, it's not looking good. Might have to take this one in or somethin... to get the crank out I need a press... guess what? Nope, don't have one. I'm going to monkey with it more later. Time for bed now...
