I've learned how to deal with it... yeah, a lot of stress, but Parris Island taught me how to deal with massive amounts of stress coupled with multiple factors.
I started to explain my day, but it would have taken too long. That's why I get paid the big bucks.
Man, I bombed the HECK out of my house a few months ago... two weeks later, chirp chirp. I don't get many in the house, but I can hear them outside, they really like to get in the cracks of the soffet and get in the attic... I need to get about 10 tubes of caulk. These crickets are a lot louder than the east coast crickets I grew up on. I actually liked the east coast ones, relaxing...
I'll have her try that.
Ok, here's my crying part. Scotty and Lary, I know I have nothing on your pain. Rick, same thing when you look in the mirror in the morning...
I've got two tramadol and about 9 beers in me, ain't done anything really since I've been home, still feel a lot of pain in my knee. Neck is still singing, but not too bad. I can move it now, at least.
I'm just glad I'm not really hurt. I can honestly say that I am thankful for the pain I have, I know it could be a lot worse. I feel bad for you guys with chronic pain.
Ok. Off to bed, kinda late for me. See you guys in the AM.

Evenin' All!
Finally Friday. 9 hours to go.......
Just register you house as a bait stand and forget about using the dowels.......
Bad news today..........
http://newsminer.com/view/full_story...dow_left_top_1
Happened just before I got up for work and less than 6 blocks from my home.....
I've walked my kids across that intersection many times going for ice cream.....
Sadly, I get the driver for a looooooooooooong time and a family is missing their little girl forever.

--As far as the bait stand goes, thats the reason I feel stupid. My place is on the edge of a reserve and a couple of friends go off the end of my drive to bait every year and get at least two. The sow has cubs and isnt legal but I know her patterns, so for me to have had fish out on the cleaning table at that time of night was just dumb on my part.

It'll take a while but it won't be enough. The last similar situation got the person 4yrs...... not near enough.....
Unfortunatley I don't know that the driver "gets it" yet........ Doesn't have a clue.
I know the family will appreciate that...... They are a friend of a friend.....

He explained it, try to keep up.

Not sure if I can describe it very well but here it goes...
At the base of your skull where it attaches to C-1 there are two processes (bumps) on either side of your spine where the tendons that attache your head to your neck are located. If you, or your wife, press on these with pretty firm pressure and rub at the same time. If you have it right, sometimes it takes a minute, you will feel your sinuses draining (at least that's what it feels like). These are a major pressure point for a great deal of ailments but one of the major ones is the muscular layer that runs up the back of your head. Also helps with sinus inflammation as well.
Give it a try, if nothing else, you will get the muscles to relax a bit, which will remove a bit of stress from your neck muscles which may help. Works for headaches in the center, temple area and sinuses as well.
On Edit... When you find the processes you press on the bottom, and press in an upward motion like you are trying to push up on them.

I've been watching that guy like a hawk all night.......Found out the fatal was really just an accident. A horrible one that will effect many people. The driver apparently was sober, not speeding and just missed the red light....... and I think I know him.... very nice, kind man. I haven't found the name out for sure but.......
1 hour to go til shift change and a week off! Come on clock and MOVE!

Morning DTR.. Sorry, I have nothing funny or sarcastic to say this morning. So I leave you with a couple of smiley faces kicking a dead horse
FWIW, it's the air, sound travels much further in dry air than the humid air your used to. Doesn't make it any easier to deal with though.

I've worked on a few 2nd gens, just not my speciality. There are a lot of things you could try, but it's all $$. Start with the cheapest thing first...
If that doesn't work, just roll over and let her apply that pressure to the carotid arteries. You'll feel better in know time. Remember to put your uniform on first.
Miss you too!

Nah, I won't mail crickets. I'll just get a medium sized box and put 3-4 roaches in it, and a couple of snickers bars, then mail it slow mail...
Mornin. Off to work.

Greetings.
Reading here tells me we all can be very thankful for what we have.
There was a young one lost here recently. Very sad.
Mark, pain is pain...you know it. Sometimes I savor it and let it rip because then when I do have some 'moderate' pain...its cake to deal with it.
I am happy to say that all I take now for meds is a one extra strength tylenol with an Advil about an hour before bed and that will stop soon too.
The meds play their own game on us that I do not like.
enjoy the Phoo00. I found a pleasant aromatic blend of [censored] and [censored] that had such a sweet sweet smell that the bubbling and smoking played no part in considering if its should be brewed or not.
I would suggest full protection and pour it slowly.

fiverBobbyPaintonSpeedo gets his very own 'special' cup and no its not for what you are thinking...its for the Phoo00.

Afternoon gang,
Been busy all morning in meetings. Grabbed my ph00 and ran.
Me either - the doc spoke in etherial terms that told me nothing. Maybe he doesn't know either - - that is really an encouraging thought. Hmmm, I want HIM to do the operation. YEH
Hey, stop that. You are trying to kill a memorable part of every year's hunting season. Our first night out is gator tail and swamp cabbage. So, stop it.
As usual, trying to take over the conversation.
Having the same problems for several years. My therapist gave me a series of neck stretches that I do most every morning (when I remember it). If I don't, I suddenly realize how much I hurt and stop and do them. Takes about 10 minutes. Sit up very straight, then slowly drop the head to one side toward the shoulder while looking forward - - remain upright in the back. Let it come down until it hurts, then let it hang. About 30 seconds. Do the other side. If needed, gently place your hand on your head and pull slightly - - never too much. Then, let the head come down at a 45 degree angle toward the front still looking forward. Then to the other side helping with the hand if needed. These two positions will make my sinuses feel like they are clearing - - has to be stretching even into them. Then, I have to turn hard right, hold - -then left - - hold. Repeat process. This simple process has kept me away from him now for two years and helps me keep going with minimal pain during the day from the neck.
OK, the doctor is now signing off. Grabbing more ph00. Be good.
Dr. Bobby
