Wow, just about the time we tell the lizard it is nice to see him he makes all this racket early in the morning - - enough all ready.

Wow, that was coffee??? OK, Mr. Maid, I know you can do better than that. Let's try again.

Sitting here with the first little pangs of feeling coming back into the tooth that just had the root canal. I am thinking I may not be a happy camper in a little while. Wonder if that horrible instant coffee might help. NOPE - - no way.

Off to find what the landscapers did to my irrigation system. Have a good one.

Bob

All those years of training, investigating mysteries, compiling facts into an organized collection of thoughts and hypothesis to disseminate the location of an eatable delight known to the commoner, treasured by the elite of civil servants and enjoyed by all. Yes, we do know where all the good donuts are.

Help Wanted: Janitor position open!!

Must have coffee ready first thing in the morning, keep donuts stocked, do minor house keeping.

What gives?!?! Been waiting around for a cup of real coffee since about 0545.

Not too much going on. Getting ready for another vaction this weekend. Almost have enough $$ saved up for my fuel pump and programer/box. Still have not decided on which one to get, but I figured that $1k should do.

The saga continues...

Oh quit yer belly-achin' and open your eyes! The coffee's right under your nose, I just moved the pot a foot to the right to make cleanin' the counter easier.

Feel like this AM, so keep yer distance unless you wanna catch the crud!

You mean this jar of Taster's Choice? We need brewed coffee not this instant Sanka stuff.

Sure is a long way from " Chaikwa's Emporium."

I'm with madhat........ ( figuratively speaking ) .We need a new janitor.

Is it just me, or has this thread evolved (or should that be, devolved?) into nothing but talk about bad doughnuts and even worse coffee. Seems to me that when y'all gathered around the water cooler that the "discussions" were a bit more intelligent. Now that everybody consumes what is misnamed 'coffee and donuts', their brains have turned a bit mushy. Hmmm, wonder why suddenly a picture of Homer Simpson comes to mind?
Had to drive back to Mexico City on Wednesday as my mother in law died. She was 84 and had lived with severe pain for months and had prayed for death, so now she is where she wanted to be. Now back home in Paradise and extra thankful that I do not live in a place like Mexico City. Here I can actually drive from A to B in less than 15 minutes. In Mexico City it can take 15 minutes to drive one block.
Looks like another lovely day here in Paradise. A bit cooler than normal, but I will still be outside in shorts and flip flops. My coffee cup is empty, so will skirt around the DTR stuff and instead go and refill it with some Mexican blend. There is a worm in every can and that gives it some extra zing. Oops, maybe I should not have mentioned that in case it gives that janitor some ideas.

Sorry about your loss, Stan. I have prayed for death for a few of my family and friends, sometimes that is the only way to be healed. Still hurts, though.

Yeah, that's my fault. Ever since I was alowed in, things have went down hill. And for intelligent? Better go talk to someone else!!

So... I'll try to fix it. Had a nice time last night, we took Christmas pictures for this years card, kids only, it looks better that way. Me and the wife are going to a private resort this weekend, its on some island that is accessable by ferry only. My mom is coming up to watch the kids... FINALLY!! WE GET TO SLEEP!!!! (that's terrible. Go on a vacation to a beautiful island, all I can think about is no baby crying in the middle of the night.) I also have plans to wine and dine the Mrs. She is more than deserving!
Have a nice day, all. Be safe this weekend.

Stan,

Give our regards to your wife. Not fun when you loose a parent. It is always comforting when you know they were on good terms with their creator. My tears turned to laughter when I think of all the good times we had together. My laughter turns to somberness when I think I am now on the top of the food chain. Hmmmm.

Gorgeous morning here after three days of intermittent clouds and drizzle. Unusual for us down here - - it usually rains so hard you can't see across the street, then the sun comes out. Now to try and straighten out the mess left by the landscapers in my irrigation system - - they crossed up some wires they cut and zones are not working. Fun time.

Coffee - - where is it???? Oh, there it is. And, yes, I see it - - the instant jar. What is going on around here? SCOTT - - SHAPE UP, BOY!!!!

Have a gudurn,

Bob

May we have a moment of silence in honor of Stan's mother in law.
(one minute later) Well I get to pack up and leave for home today, I'm out of school until the 8th. So hopefully I'll still be able to get on here at least twice a day. Still need to go catch a goat. (Wonder if I can get close enough with a rope before she realizes what I'm doing).
