Whewwwwwwww .... I can't believe I ate the whoooooole thing !!

Just finished up one of the better breakfasts that I have cooked myself in a long time. Scrambled hen-fruit w/ mushrooms, fluffy biscuits and homemade country sausage gravy poured on a heaping of fried taters & onions !! Washed it down with a big glass of OJ and some Kona Sunrise coffee.

Blue skies ... full belly ... no work today .... Life is good !!!

Planning on skipping out of the command Christmas party this evening ... I think I am way overdue for cleaning out my belly button lint .

Hope you all have a relaxing yet productive weekend. I'm gonna take a relaxing, productive nap !!

Good morning, fellow DRToroians!!! Start of a good day, Recruits are saying Aye Sir, Drill Insrtuctors are yelling, things are chaos... A true Parris Island Morning.
With so many of our members taking a trip over the hollidays, I want to extend my Christmas wishes now, from my family to yours. My you have a safe and happy holliday season with your families, and come back to us safe!! If you're in my neck of the woods, I'll have a presant under the tree and some Christmas dinner ready for ya! Lets not forget what the season is all about, and remember our troops that will be in harms way. Merry Christmas, DTR!!!!

Coffee tastes great, chaiwka, you need a raise. Glad it's not that instant stuff, but I'll drink/chew what ever you make!
After I get off today, me and the wife are going to our little vacation, sans kids. I'll bring back some pictures.

Have a safe one!!!

Saturday mornings are for flyins. Fire up the o'l Vans RV-9A and find a local EAA club having a flyin breakfast. Free to PIC (pilot in command) I might add. Catch up on all the aviation gossip, talk airplanes for 6 hours.

Life is good when you can get a little altitude on your attitude.

No Begle1, you can't put a CTD in an airplane.

The red stripe is so they know if their pants are inside out or not.

How did you know about the slobber?
No, I meant that I have $20 that says I'll win. Applebee's is fine, I'll let you watch me use your $ for drinks.

I've come to the realization that every one of 10,000 sailors will have a girl in a port of 1000 population...

Saturday in a 63* Casa Grande AZ.

In Sept, when we left for TX only figgered I be gone 2 or 3 weeks. Things changed, came home to a 'frig that quit in the 5er. Smells a lot like a dead body, Polly replace the 'later, as going back to TX early Tues AM Number crunched cheaper to fly SW and rent a car, than drive the truck. Got a Chrysler PT cruser. Oh Well.

Sure glad we moved out of the Pacific NW. Wild weather. Daughter in Portland/Beaverton all ok. Cant reach son in Kirkland WA. prolly no power.

Grand kids both sick and fever in Houston, I think it might be something in the old house daughter is leasing. I usually end up with upper respatory stuffy problems.

Good thing for grand daughter, the School Christmas Party was hosted by RE-MAX. Nice gifts for all the kids, a pizza lunch and a ride in their hot air balloon.

Geico and Wannabe, I'm jelous, I miss flying. Fly-ins and free breakfast etc.
Wannabe wow a C130 and a B17. Way to go.
Biggest thrill I have had as a pilot was a DC-3 FAA flight check plane. N-34 think is is a mesuem now.

Trying to get the dead body smell out of the 5er.

Have a good weekend all. HO HO HO
