My Elder Twin has a LEGG up on me in the breakfast dept.
After having his hip fixed he has a LEGG up on all sorts of things.
Very windy here with rain and falling temps. Winter is pushing in with a vengeance.

I do have to see if the hens r laying at the neighbors,went grocery getting and forgot eggs. snowing here.

boiler (design) problems my hubby has been going through, won't get up to temp. "floor" in burn chamber is cement and broken. new one ordered. came today, broken and not the right one for the unit. dealer said try it anyway, could not answer any details about obvious gaps. might be time for a call to Canada manufacturer........new units have a complete design change from bottom to top.

ok, time to be supportive, brownies for everyone! dusted with flea powder um um good.

 

I staked out some shrews around the break room. Hopefully it will distract the fleas.
I'm in the wrong time zone, I keep missing out on all the good eats. I had left over cold slaw for breakfast.

 

I just returned from my daughter's school where they did a very nice Rememberence Day Ceremony and they had a video montage at the end with our two most recent fallen soldiers that where taken on our home soil.

Really hit home for us.

Wow - - - 9:25 and no coffee, no ph00 - - - snoring noises from the corner - - - oooopppsss, that's the dragon - - let him/her sleep.

OK, it's all on - - - coffee, ph00 (none hidden - - getting mine before you know who arrives and messes it up. Another fresh loaf of patitsa on counter. Come get it.

Hot and humid with a tropical storm spinning in the Bering Sea. Had some freezing rain just before the commute home. The road along the river was was pretty slick.

 

Happy Saturday all y'all. Today has been a 'batten down the hatches' day. The hurricane that Cougar mentioned is about to play havoc with the jet stream and then the jet stream is going to mix with a system moving in from Montana. We are supposed to get freezing rain tomorrow morning which will turn to snow during the day. After 2 days of snow, the temperatures are supposed to plummet with overnight lows near -20C by Tuesday night. So, I ran around and got everything ready for out first deep freeze of the year. Hoses are all picked up in the yard, water reservoirs are all drained, barn doors are sealed up and everything that will freeze in the garage is now in the house. Oh yeah, I also installed new wiper blades on both vehicles. Wiper blades are such a simple and cheap thing to look after and they are so important to good visibility and yet I see so many vehicle with wiper blades that are only mildly better that serrated bread knives.
Now for some fun. DW's birthday is in 2 weeks and my BIL's birthday is the week after. The next few weekends are busy so we are celebrating the birthdays this weekend. Family is on the way, food is being prepared, bring on the party
Wobbly pops will be involved tonight so family will have a sleepover.
