Evening DTR. Good day at work. Gonna fire up the grill here in a few, I'm making some Pork Chops for dinner tonight. It's not bacon but still pretty darn good!

Picked up parts for mom's 06 300, EGR Valve and two hood struts.

Working in the garage tonight, still having problems with the truck hunting in and out of OD between 40-50 mph. If i reset the APPS, it goes away for a little bit but the problem returns still. I have the wire from the Alt wrapped with foil, did that a few years ago. (Maybe I should wrap it in bacon instead!) Gonna clean the grounds up tonight but I'm leaning towards adjusting the APPS and installing the noise filter or installing a new APPS. Also got to replace some tie-rods too.

 

I just keep going.

we should tawk, joisey boy..... this thing has been sitting outside for every one of it's years. only thing 'gone' is the eight inch struts that hold the rear fender walls on. motor needs to be re-done to include the oil lines inside. the wood dash burned up when hubby was working on it, and caught the garage on fire at his home- in 1981. yeah. 'nuff said.

Matt! yup- watching my tomaters! canned first time ever last year. really good free food during the winter and so tasty too! I do italian sausage with the peppers,onion, corn and maters.....oh my. close to bacon.

got a phone call, fellas are coming over to sight in their shotguns; bringing new shooters with them. better cook up a batch of sloppy joes and get the range mowed. we bring out some fun guns too

I'll get a new truck when the manufacturers stop installing DPF's and EPA BS on trucks. Plus my truck only has 193K on it, still have many miles left on it. Talked to Lary tonight and did some research, my issue looks like its the APPS, ordered a new Timbo APPS tonight. Lary was alot of help on the phone.

Mom, I'm gonna can until I run out of maters and veggies to can. when i do run out i'll go tothe farmers market and buy some more to can. The home canned veggies taste alot better than the mass produced stuff. What kind of fun guns do you have?

Pork chops are done and gone now, very good dinner! Wife to my surprise brought home a pound of BACON tonight!

Carrie raises them. We buy a bit of stuff from her; bacon, chops, roasts. $3.50/lb, butchered, cut up and wrapped for the freezer. I'd buy a half from her but it would get forgotten and get freezer burn by the time we ate it, so what's the sense in that?

I'll buy one when they cost less than what I have into the farm here!

Ground the apps directly to the battery. Did this on dad's truck along with wrapping the alt wire with foil and electrical tape. Fixed the 4th/OD hunt.

Moose season opens in 12 days. 4-wheeler is tuned up and ready to go minus an oil change. but that's coming soon. No partner yet and no meat wagon this year but I'll get by. Just gonna have to put some more miles in the seat hauling camp in and out. That's gonna be horrible......
